“Every time one dines here it is a new experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012

Found the Sand Point Grill a several years ago via an Entertainment Book two for one coupon. Wife and I have been coming back ever since. Each time we go the menu has changed and it is always an excellent dining experience.

“Out of the Ordinary Small Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2011

We have been meaning to try this restaurant out for a while and finally made it. We went at about 8 PM so we missed any crowds though it was not empty - it closes at 10 PM.

The menu was good and had some different choices - not the run of the mill normal offerings at all. I tried out the Braised Meat Fettuccini. A tad spicy and quite good. And not a huge amouint of food either!

Nice wine menu and the wine that was suggested was quite good though not cheap. The staff were friendly and did a good job overall.

A nice place to have a good meal and also have the time (and quiet) to talk. I can certainly recommend it.

“Great Local Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2011

I travel to Seattle several times each year and there are a lot of good restaurants. The Sand Point Grill is a really consistently good local place. I always have one or two meals there when I'm in town. It's a casual neighborhood place in the "U" district on Sand Point Way. One signature dinner dish is the fried chicken with mashed potatoes...great! But the Penn Cove steamed mussels are the best in town. You have to have the Penn Cove mussels! Good little deserts too. Good wine list, casual friendly service.

“Outstanding Neighborhood Resataurant. Gret Food and Very Nice decoration.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2011 via mobile

We had a great dinner. Everything was delicious, the aspargus cream soup, the salad had a great sauce and was very flavorful. My wife had the salmon special which was really good and I also liked my entree. The hazelnut tart was very good as well with a just of orange flavor. The new owners have done a great job. We are sure to come back often.

“A neighborhood treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2011

We've eaten at Sand Point on the average of about once every 2 months for the last year or so. What was always a good, predictable and friendly neighborhood eatery stepped up a notch when the new owners took over last year. The fare is typically American with a continental touch (the divers scallops ... wow!). The food is always well prepared, generous portions and quite tasty. The service is good, but on nights when the place is slammed you need to be a little patient ... doh! And as long as they keep serving this level of good, hearty cuisine . . . well, it's liable to be slammed. So just chill out and enjoy really good food at fair prices.
