“Best Thai food around!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

I eat here about twice a month. It is my favorite thai food around. It isn't the most inexpensive ($12-$15) a plate, but I will continue eating here until I grow old.

“Thai food outside Thailand?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

We did not expect much from this Thai restaurant outside Thailand as generally these restaurant cater just for the locals. The Tom yam seafood soup was clear, not the ones with a red film of chilli oil floating on top, a little bit more lime juice, lemon grass and bird's eye chilli would make it more authentic. Thai omelette, not fluffy, lacking flavour & texture, oily, obviously the wok did not smoke enough before the beaten eggs were added.Stir fried minced pork with basil leaves, average. Thai crispy fish with mango salad, good. Oyster sauce stir fried Kai-Lan, average. A kung poh styled prawn, scallops and green capsicum, too much gravy, average. The restaurant is comfortable, high ceiling and lots of Thai décor and the service is good except that the smiles of "Amazing Thailand" is missing.

“Best Thai Food Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

Fantastic Thai food. I love their Swimming Rama - they have an excellent peanut sauce here. All the spices and flavors were good, and they didn't use too much fish sauce, which I prefer. Lovely atmosphere as well.

“Great food, not greatest service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2012

We lived near the Jai Thai on Broadway so that is what I'm basing my reviews on. The food is great. I normally don't order Pad Thai but their "Country" version is so good!! It has a tamarind sauce instead of the regular and is super tasty! We went there several times and the service is either okay or not very good. It is pretty cheap though and tasty.

“Good food - open LATE!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2012

We arrived for dinner at 9:30pm and we were seated very quickly (as there weren't very many people in the actual restaurant area). The waiter quickly brought us our drinks and took our appetizer/dinner order. The appetizer (crab wontons with plum sauce) arrived VERY quickly and was very good. Not burnt or soggy - they were quite perfect actually. Our dinners arrived shortly after (less than 10 mins) and both entrees were delicious. Note: chef is on the low end of the hot scale. I ordered a 3 (their top hot is 4) and it tasted more like a nicely seasoned 2.
