“Amazing fresh seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

My wife and kids enjoyed a great meal after we arrived in Seattle. Duke's was a short walk from our hotel which is a bonus. The selection is huge and is peppered by a variety of seafood fresh from Alaska. Even my kid's meals looked great.

“Tasty Seafood In A Marine Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

We have been to Duke's Chowder House Lake Union four times in the past two years, most recently June, 2012. We like the location on the docks of South Lake Union and walking distance to our hotel, the Silver Cloud. Hospitality has been good each time and we were seated in locations we like. Good choice of chowders and seafood.

“Good enough for dockside seating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

This local favorite continues to please all ages. The late afternoon sun on the outside dock seating increased the pleasure of dining with Mom's and daughters. The service was good; the food adequate; the setting pleasant. The lack of fresh fish variety disappointed us, though our meals were good.

“Good restaurant with great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. We were seated outside so we could enjoy the nice weather and the boats on the lake. Our waiter was great and was very attentive to our table. We had 3 kids with us and the waiter never tired of the kids and my family's requests. The food was served quickly and we were able to enjoy a late night happy hour which was a plus. We sampled several of the small plates and all of the food was really good.

“Delicious Chowder right on the water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

We love Duke's and come to the Lake Union location frequently in the summer. We love that they have a little dock that you can tie your boat up to and jump out for a nice meal and a drink outside. Fish and chips are great as is the selection of different chowders. My favorite item on the menu - The cobb salad with blackened salmon....out of this world! Fans of bread and butter? You will love the warm sour dough loaf delivered in generous amounts. Is it the fanciest place? No and that's what makes it great.
