The Broadway Grill is located in Seattle's gay friendly Capitol Hill neighborhood on it's busiest street, Broadway. Broadway is known for it's young trendy crowd and boutique shops. The Broadway Grill is a Capitol Hill institution! Most of Seattle has eaten here ast least once!
The restaurant is lively on any night of the week, but Tuesday night is best as they have a special on Long Island Iced Tea's. Hence it is called Tea Tuesdays! weekends are busy, but not to crowded. Don't expect long waits. The waiters are typically attractive male students with fun patient personalities who like what they do.
In the summer there are tables on an outside patio which are fun. But, in the winter ask the host to be seated in the front room where you can people watch along the busy sidewalk through floor to ceiling windows. If you are looking for a quite drink and appetizer, sit at the bar or if you are with a group in the back room where there is most privacy and room.
The food is American style with average prices. I always order a cup of the house soup... Southwest Chicken! Very good! The Greek Turkey Burger is also a great lunch option. For dinner I recommend the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Very "mom" style.
If you are in Capitol Hill, you must give the Broadway Grill a try! Have fun!
