“Great view, Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Located at the yacht club with a great view of downtown Seattle from across the yacht basin, it is a great restaurant with great atmosphere and great food. A bit off the beaten path as it is not in town, but worth the trip. Service is excellent, food is great, view is great. Wine list is very good. Plenty of free parking.

“Unbelievably bountiful seafood brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Wow! Beautifully situated at the marina on Elliot Bay, we happened into the Sunday brunch and Palisade while touring Seattle for the weekend. We enjoyed the amazing buffet with no less tha 12 differents types of seafood -- sushi, swordfish, crab, shrimp and more. Enjoyed the unique salads, cheese, desserts and custom pancakes. A must do for a special occasion. Great service too! And what a fabulous view.

“Brunch for our bunch!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

We went to Palisades for my wife's birthday brunch since she has been looking for a place for a great brunch in the area. We brought our daughter, her husband and 3 little ones and our youngest son. We were greeted with someone to open the door and the staff greeted us and showed us to our reserved table. Everyone got settled in and our waiter gave us the low down on the brunch. There was a fabulous assortment of all things brunch including seafood and roast beef. The kiddos were fascinated with the assortment of delicious fruit and desserts!! We adults were pleased with the assortment of food choices. The kiddos enjoyed feeding the fish after they ate. We didn't appreciate that the waiter didn't pay much attention to delivering the drinks and removing used plates at a timely manner. And that is why I didn't give them 5 stars.

“terrific food, pretty view, great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

It's all about the food. There are dozens of other Seattle restaurants on or near the water that can boast a nice view, and Palisade is a contender. And if you like totems, this is the place to visit. But the food is wonderful, and in abundance. The prices aren't cheap, but you're getting very fresh, very well-prepared food, and you won't be hungry after having your meal. The lobster bisque was delicious, muy sobrino, tottemo oishii! And it didn't come in a cup, or a bowl impersonating a cup, it came in a TUREEN. Which meant that for the price of a bowl of soup at any other good restaurant, you got a VERY LARGE bowl of delicious bisque, which claims to have dungeness crab and lobster, and you can even readily find the chunks of crab & lobster meat throughout the cauldron. It's $15, but it easily serves 2 hungry people; ours managed to serve 4.
Again, the portions are generous, but be prepared for possible sticker shock at the entree prices. The wonderfully prepared seafood ranges from $29 to $42 and the meat dishes range from $19 to $49 (~ summer 2013.) The food is delicious, the service is wonderful, the portions are generous, the view is quite nice. It's worth the splurge. Go with people you love to spend time with and have a memorable & enjoyable experience.
