“Nice Restaurant - great staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2011

We have been there a few times w/friends. They have excellent food, great service, overall a really good place to go for a medium priced in Eastlake/North Lk Union area.

“Their food has gone downhill since moving”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2011

Sleek, inviting interior and good service, but the food was atrocious. I used to eat regularly at the old location (slightly south of the new location) and it was fine. This time I ordered a beef salad, which is supposed to have that lovely mix of lime juice, garlic, lemon grass, fish sauce, pepper flakes, and chopped mint or cilantro. The meat wasn't tender and most of the spices were missing. And the meat certainly wasn't pan-seared as the menu said it would be. It looked boiled.

Even worse was the pat woon sen, a dish of stir-fried glass noodles with vegetables and sometimes an egg stirred in. The vegetables were way overcooked and it was all swimming in grease. But you couldn't even see the veggies and the noodles because a thick peanut sauce had been poured over the entire thing -- definitely not authentic (I lived in Thailand for several years). And the peanut sauce wasn't even very good. Both dishes were inedible. My friend took it home in case her husband would eat it. She said it was even worse heated up.

Maybe there's a better cook on the weekend evenings or during crowded lunch hours, but this was truly awful.

“Comfortable, relaxing, with great food and ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2010

I was there for opening night last night. A really fine place. You'll love it. The owner has many years of experience and it shows in the staff, the food and the ambiance. Very comfortable and relaxing. The Thai beef salad is excellent.

“Where is my waitress?"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2009

We went there for dinner last night and the food was extreamly sweet. Traditional dishes that I have had for years all had the sweetnest of pad thai. Our waitress was the only one serving about 12 tables and we had to flag her down for everything and ask for the check 3 times. If you don't care about the level of service and like looking at a cow fish this is the place for you.
