“Very nice lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

Was in Seattle recently for a quick vacation. Without doing any research, we randomly walked into this restaurant because it offered outdoor seating and it was a very nice day. We were very pleased with our choice. We had a delicious lunch paired with a wonderful French wine from their wine list. The wait staff was very attentive without being bothersome. Would definitely return.

“Decent food and a happy hour delight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

The small bites menu for happy hour is filled with fabulous tastes. From the regular menu, the onion soup is delicious, if over abundant. Chicken in the Coq au Vin was somewhat over cooked but the dish was very tasty anyway. Strangely, we were not offered bread with the meal, but I'm sure it would have arrived if requested. Service was friendly, but the restaurant was very busy with a large party for the happy hour, perhaps leading to the less than attentive service. On balance, though, it is well worth a visit.

“Mixed Feelings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

I have very mixed feelings about this place. Brunch was really good - grapefruit juice, nice herb tea, granola with fresh fruit and yoghurt, omelette with herbs for me, sausage and baguette, croque monsieur for my husband. Delicious jam and good coffee, although the baguette could have been better.

Based on the brunch, we decided to try dinner there. We had purée of mushroom soup that was okay. I had duck confit with potatoes and mixed greens. The duck was slightly over crisp, the potatoes were not bad, but the green vegetables could have been cooked more. My husband though had a beetroot and lettuce salad with roquefort sauce and said it was very good. We shared a dessert which was okay, but rather sweet. Again the baguette was not as it should be and was slightly chewy and rubbery.

The service morning and evening was very good, polite and courteous.

It's really a pity that the dinner did not equal the quality of the brunch.
