“Wonderful mussels and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2011

The mussels, which come from Penn Cove, just up the road, are among the best we've ever had. Other seafood dishes are also fine. Service is expert and seasoned. Make sure to tell them if you have to leave by a specific time so they can tailor the servings. Otherwise, you might now want to leave. One quibble: The wine list could have more Northwest labels.

“Worst Fish Ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2011

The service was good, the wine was good but the food was truly awful. I had some sort of fish which was tasteless with accompaniments which were equally bad. Don't go there.

“very good seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2011

I warmly recommend the king crabe legs which are fantastic and that you do not find in every seafood restaurant as easily as the lobster. The price is vry reasonable for seafood! you can eat outside on the sidewalk and the avenue is not so busy with cars so it is nice to have diner outside. The service is very good and people are charming.

“I had thought McCormick & Schmick, pretty mediocre ...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2011

... but then I noticed that no Schmick here. (It turns out they are part of the same chain. Go figure.) I had a nice waiter, an excellent half-bottle of sauvignon blanc, a blackened salmon & oysters. Really good all around. Give it a chance.
