“Great Evening”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

After reading the overall great reviews, we booked a special birthday celebration at Assaggio and we were not disappointed. The service was attentive and the food was wonderful! We will definitley return next time we visit Seattle. The only negative is the noise level which is very high and makes conversation difficult unless you speak very loudly, but the food is so good it overcomes that one negative. Great pork, wonderful seafood, and well-priced for the quality.

“Sadly disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Had lunch here today. The minestrone should have noodles in it but I couldn't find any. Also, I'd asked for no Gorgonzola on my salad but it came out anyway so had to send it back which meant my friend fished long before me. The ambience is wonderful but the food is only so-so.

“Love Assaggio !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Delicious !! The porchetta is so yummy !! Order it every time we go !! This is a family friendly restaurant but make SURE if have kids you ask for a kids size pizza. Last time we were there they charged us $15.00 a pizza and they were bigger than what we needed. We have 3 kids so our bill was far more than we had expected. We've been here 10 or 15 times before and ordered the kids pizzas and they generally come personal sized for around $8.00

“My home away from home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Every trip to Seattle would not be complete without a night at Assaggio; the classic elegance of an Italian eatery, yet the comfort of home, Mauro makes every guest feel like family. From the Caprese to the Osso Buco, everything is authentic cuisine. Like wine but are afraid to expand into the Italians? Assaggio's staff will educate you on what would be best with your meal and you taste. A favorite is Gattinara Travaglini or for the more familiar a D2 from DeLille. All in all a must when in Seattle.
