“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

Wasn't sure if we should spend the money since the garden is partly visble from the outside. So happy we did. I have completely fallen for his beautiful art. If you love venetian glass or Lalique this is a must! Another great take on functional art. Make sure you have time left for the gift shop - it's wonderful as well.

“A one of a kind museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

Sitting at the base of the Space Needle is the wonderful Chihuly Glass Museum. Eye popping color, fantastically imaginative displays and beautiful gardens make this a must see for Seattle visitors. Very unique.

“Stunning!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

Nobody can rave too much about this museum. You have to see it for yourself. The color! The creativity! Chihuly glass is all over the world, but this is a such concentrated collection all in one place that there is no describing it. Just GO -- Plan to spend some time just soaking it all in. Dale Chihuly is one artist you will NEVER forget.

“Amazing and we got to see Dale Chihuly!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

What a gift to the city of Seattle! This museum is magnificent.
It was easy to get tickets: there was the option to use one of the machines readily available or to walk to the counter to purchase them. The various handblown glass displays were awe inspiring. The various colors and styles offered an interesting experience.
There were displays inside the museum, but there were also outside pieces dispersed throughout the gardens. It was astounding that they can withstand the weather. Like all of Mr. Chihuly's displays, the placement was so obviously planned out and enhanced by the plantings.
There is a movie about Mr. Chihuly's glassblowing influences and experiences. It is probably about 30 minutes or so to sit through all of the segments. It was wonderful to see and hear of his process in placing his pieces in both Italy and Israel.
There is a restaurant in the museum. It serves food that is quite eye-appealing and delicious. We were fortunate to have Mr. Chihuly in the restaurant that day seated at a table right across from us. It was all quite wonderful!
