This is my 2nd visit back to the Motif and couldn't be happier with my stay. Each time, upon check in to check out, I was greeted by the friendly staff in passing with offerings of any assistance needed. This property is still fresh from their renovation/conversion to an independent. I love the modern, eclectic feel throughout. I visited for business, but still had my fun on the 5th floor @ Frolic. The chill lounge and fun menu allowed me to watch my SF Giants take down the Royals in game 1 of the world series with comfort and taste. Definitely a great place to relax and have a cocktail & a bite. The rooms are clean, inviting & comfortable, yet modern. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms are key. I enjoyed the chocolates & caramel from turn down service as well. It is located right downtown with a high walk ability score to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this property for business or pleasure.

Room Tip: Higher levels have great views of downtown.

It is a nice hotel right in the middle of downtown and almost everything close by. I was staying there for a conference and the check in process was all messed up. My clients had to wait for hours before they were allotted their rooms and there was a lot of confusion. The hotel did inform me that there was another big conference going on and that is why there was a delay -- but then they should be more prepared for such events.

The rooms are fairly nice, especially the ones on higher floors with a better view. The gym was nice and well equipped. Staff was very good and took good care of us at the conference.

Room Tip: Request for a room on the higher floors

This modern hotel is in a great location in downtown Seattle. Easily accessible to great restaurants, night life and entertainment. Walking distance to Pike Place Market. The rooms were updated and clean. The staff was friendly and professional. Food and drink at the hotel lounge, Frolik, were very tasty. I would definitely stay there again as well as recommend to others.

This was a wonderful hotel for a beautiful stay in the city. From the airport, it is a 45 minute rail ride to the stop that is a few blocks away. Most of the great places (i.e., Pike Place, Space Needle, Olympic Gardens) were within an easy walking distance from the hotel. Uber options abound, but take note, you may want to be clear about what streets you want to take to your destination - drivers are not always familiar with the area and tend to utilize the more popular (busy and slower) streets. The best part about this hotel is the kind staff. I had pleasant and helpful exchanges with everyone from check-in, to the concierge, to the door staff, who were all welcoming with smiles.

Room Tip: High floors, bay view

I stayed in a family suite for my bachelorette weekend. There was PLENTY of space. The hotel is beautiful, their restaurant is awesome, it's walking distance to the light rail, pike market and other attractions. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone.

This hotel has been recently refurbished and is now a lovely modern hotel. Location is great right in the heart of downtown Seattle, only 3 blocks from Pike Place market, 1 block from westlake centre and train station and suurounded by shopping!
Our room was a typical size for an American hotel and had a lovely marble bathroom with a fantastic shower! Absolutely loved the bathrobe too! (i wanted to take it with me but i didn't). The coffee maker had Pike Place Starbucks coffee and was pretty good for a hotel. Bed was comfy but a tad small.
Hotel staff are fantastic! Loved being greeted every time we walked in or out. Our room was also ready when we arrived a little early too. Absolutely no problem to hold on to our bags when we left either.
Only negative points of this hotel are the crappy wifi, very very slow. Also the one time we popped to Frolik for a drink the service was bad so we did not return. We didn't eat there though so I'm not sure if that would improve it.
Would stay here again if i return to Seattle.

Room Tip: Ask for one with good wifi if it exists
