“Great girls' getaway in Seattle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Just got back from one night at the Motif in Seattle and would highly recommend it! We loved it for the great location, friendly staff, and spacious room.

Though it was a short visit, the Motif was the perfect place to lay our heads after a long day in Seattle. Comfortable beds and great room temperature, huge windows with lots of light, and lots of space to spread out in the room.

Loved the free wifi, parking was expensive at the hotel but we parked elsewhere.

A great stay overall!

A friend and I stayed here after Paradiso since we wanted a few days in Seattle. It is right in the heart of the business / fashion district. Pretty easy to find in the grid of downtown Seattle.
Hotel parking underground was a bit expensive, so we turned in the automobile at SeaTac and were able to take public transport all the way back to near the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as shopping. It is also a nice walk to the Capital Hill area.
The room was good, standard fare for a hotel. The WC was nice and big, although ours had a see-through panel in the door. One night we had a pizza delivery and it was delivered straight to our room. We did try Elephant & Castle, the pub under the hotel. It was good although not too many gluten-free choices. The staff at the hotel and pub were friendly and efficient.
Good option for staying close to downtown Seattle, as the waterfront as well as Capital Hill can be reached without a vehicle. Also the lightrail will take passengers directly to the Seattle-Tacoma Aeroport.

We were able to stay here through a great deal on Priceline and because it was midweek. The hotel is beautiful and so well situated you can easily get anywhere you want in Seattle. Pike Market is just down the street. The hotel is so clean and the staff was very helpful. There is a pub downstairs that was fun and authentic. Parking was pricey, but worth it to leave the car and explore. I don't think I would pay full price, but it was definitely a treat!

Stayed here 2 weeks and I had a positive experience. The only minor issues were internet related, where the connection to my companys vpn worked for 30 seconds and then nothing else would work. I got to speak to the IT manager, mr Danny, who went beyond the call of duty to help me. In the process,he took me to visit the datacenter where we quickly ruled out the appliance in the network that caused the issue and immediately resolved my problem. Well pleased and as my company is headquartered in seattle I will choose this hotel again on my next trip in march.

A former Sheraton, Motif has been given a contemporary makeover and is quite fashionable looking. It is situated in the middle of the business/retail district of Seattle, and from it you can walk everywhere, or get to public transportation easily. The AC in our room never quite cooled enough, though a polite young engineer tinkered with it and assured us it "would just take a while." The fancy rain shower head actually didn't put out a lot of water. A very nice looking bar/restaurant, with rooftop area, closed at 10:00 on a week night, forcing us into an ersatz British? pub on the basement level. Generally comfortable, and reasonably priced for that area, had it not been for the location, it would not be a place I would recommend.

Green Features: They had recycling containers in the room as part of the trash can.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay at the Motif Seattle. We arrive at the moment they change from Red Lion Hotel to Motif and there were no issues. The staff was very responsive and helpful. The room is spacious. It's strategically located and very easy to get to everything on Downtown Seattle. The view of our room was excellent pointing to the bay and the new Seattle Ferris wheel. There is nice terrace in the 5th floor with games and a nice view to the people walking in the street.

And I work right downtown! Staff was warm, bed was a dream, food delightful, Frolik HOT and all the entertainment nearby helped me relax, recharge and reacquaint myself with my city. The planner in me can't wait for the next meeting opportunity because the new banquet, break out and board room are exceptional. Plus everyone wants to situate their registration beneath the grand staircase! Summer along 5th Avenue should be a lot of fun on the Porch, but I'm really looking forward to another weekend rendezvous in the heart of Seattle just for the fun of it. Bravo!
