“Just Gross!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012 via mobile

How is this even considered an attraction? Followed the signs to gum wall to find ourselves in an alley with millions of chewed gum wads stuck to a brick wall. Big sticky deal. I'm not a germaphobe at all bur could feel the bacteria from all the gum spit. Just plain gross.

“Kind of icky”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

People put their gum on this wall because they were bored. Too bad.

“What ??????”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

If you are in the area of the Pike Street Market, the gum wall is worth a quick visit. Teenagers especially love it. How it got started, I don't know, but it's in an alley and the walls are literally covered or "decorated" with gum ! Take your camera for a whimsical photo. Oh, and don't forget a package of colorful gum !

“Gross, but fascinating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

The Gum Wall is right near the Pike Place Market, and you can get to it by taking the stairs near MarketSpice. Of course it's gross, because everyone has chewed gum and stuck it to the wall. But at the same time, it's very unique, and amazing to see the many ways you can display gum. Some long and stringy, some short and flat. And some people form it into words, or even into their own name. Lots of colours, and lots of interesting shapes.

One of a kind, and it's well worth the few minutes it takes to walk down the stairs to see it.
