“Great hotel experience in downtown Seattle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Seattle while in town for business and highly commend it. Well appointed, spacious, and convenient to everything in downtown Seattle, I was never in need of anything. The staff was attentive to every need and courteous on every occasion. I would definitely stay in this property again. Well done!

“Hotel Central”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

It's always nice to be in the middle of everything, the center of attention. The Grand is all that and more. We recently spent three nights here for a conference and had a splendid experience. Staff were sharp and attentive, rooms were updated and comfortable and it is close to all the things you'd care to do in Seattle. This is a BIG hotel so be advised. It does feel a bit formal and stark, so if you're looking for small and cozy, look elsewhere. The Grand does know how to take care of guests and that does feel personal. We had breakfast at Urbane and found the food and service impeccable.
You can walk to at least a dozen great restaurants. The monorail runs right out front and the station is down a couple blocks. That opens up Seattle Center as an activity destination. Waterfromt and Pike St Market are also easy to access. This is a great urban hotel in a captivatingly beautiful city. Come, stay, enjoy.

“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

This hotel is in the heart of the downtown shopping and sighseeing areas. Walking Distance to everything from Westlake Center, the Monorail to the Space Needle, The Link and Pikes Place Market. It made it so convenient to come and go from the room as many times a day as needed.

Lovely, comfortable rooms - the bathroom is especially large.

Would stay there again without a doubt.

Room Tip: We had a Puget Sound view room on the 23rd floor - good choice

So happy that you enjoyed your stay here at the Grand Hyatt Seattle! Our location is so convenient and central, making it easy for our guests to walk to Pacific Place Mall, Pikes Place Market and the Monorail. It's also great that we are so close to the Link lightrail for easy and inexpensive transportation to the airport. Excited to see you back with us next time you're in Seattle.

“Luxury at a Nice Price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

As a frequent business traveler, I can honestly say that this hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The room was large and immaculate, and had blackout shades and a pretty Asian decor. The very large bathroom had both a soaking tub and a walk in shower. The staff was friendly and very helpful--and the wake up call was even a real person! The Starbucks in the hotel was a real plus. The 24 hour fitness center was large with several machines (treadmill, elliptical, weights) and even a sauna and whirlpool. The location can't be beat-- just around the corner from the convention center, and right in the middle of a huge shopping district with two malls (think Seattle's Michigan Avenue). The Pike Place Market is an easy walk just a couple of blocks away, and just a few blocks down you can take the monorail to the Space Needle or the EMP Museum. Lots of good restaurants nearby and of course many Starbucks. Great place to stay!

Thank you so much for your great review of your stay here at the Grand Hyatt Seattle. We love how close we are to all the great attractions and activities that downtown Seattle has to offer. With the Pikes Place Market and Convention Center a short walk and the Space Needle and EMP Museum a quick and enjoyable Monorail ride away, we are an ideal hotel for business travelers like yourself looking for entertainment and excitment close by. Perhaps next time you visit you can make to the new Seattle Great Wheel on the Waterfront. So glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope you come back soon!
