The EMP landed in Seattle a little over twelve years ago and it is still a mecca for those seeking out the info on Jimmy Hendrix and now Kurt Cobain. An architectural extravaganza celebrating in spectacular detail rock music. The inside is 'gritty' just like the Seattle music scene it documents. The 'Sky Church' is incredible and worthy a pause to sit an wonder in amazement. Designed by Frank Gerhy, it is one of his more restrained examples. One can only wonder what it could have been if the Space Needle was not there and the goal was to give Seattle a world landmark. Buy your tickets on-line for the best discount.
