“Center for Wooden Boats”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

It was very quiet here, perhaps because it is winter. We may return when the weather is better. Compared to the Wooden Boat Center in Port Townsend, this facility is disappointing.

“Wooden Boat Festival”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

I love all things nautical but going to the Wooden Boat Festival and getting to go on many, many boats to look around inside was great but seeing the Lady Washington was the best

“A Fun Fourth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

The Center has taken over the old Navy Reserve in fine form. The open house and special attractions brought in for the 4th of July weekend are always interesting. The opportunity to climb aboard many of the vessels and tour is especially enjoyed.

“Not a lot here”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

I have been here several times, and sometimes there are a few things to see, but overall, it's a snoozer. There are some interesting old boats, and once in a while, they are open to the public. It could be a great venue, but they have a way to go, with the exception of the times they have a big event going on.

“A little piece of history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

I came across this by accident just wandering along the waterfront (the boatshow was also on further up the lakeside). It is a lovely piece of history of native wooden boat building and has a display of rare and wonderful boats
