“Great place, nice location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014

We visited the Seattle in July of 2013 and stayed here. The price was competitive with local hotels, but we felt that this was cleaner and in a better location than many of the other options.

There were many restaurants nearby and it was convenient to all the local transportation.

We highly recommend the suite, which our kids loved!

Room Tip: Go for the suite!

The hotel is conveniently located near lots of great dining and attractions. The rooms were nice, free breakfast provided a great value. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needing taxis or assistance. I would absolutely stay here again.

The staff was very warm and friendly. The hot breakfast was good. They even have soy milk. The room was clean and quiet, except for occasional noise from the hallway. The bed was comfortable and the duvet cover was washed. We slept well and had a pleasant stay.

Have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and was not disapointed. Location is OK, not right downtown, but not to far. We stayed for a Shehawks game. They run a shuttle to the stadium for $5. I'm sure a taxi would only be $15 Staff were amazing from Check in to welcoming you home from youe day out. Will return..

We had a pretty good stay at this hotel. It was clean and the employees (all of them) were very friendly. The room was adequately appointed and the reception area was nice. The breakfast in the lobby/reception area was very good, and lots of free newspapers. Parking was OK (though it is crowded and costs about what this sort of thing goes for - though cheaper than a hotel downtown). Walls in rooms did transmit sound (and we had an unpleasant experience with some girl on the phone at 4AM that was a few rooms away!). I thought the price was very reasonable in this otherwise expensive city for hotels.

The hotel is at the SE corner of the foot of Queen Anne Hill. This puts it a mere block or two from the Seattle Center (that includes the Space Needle and the EMP music museum and the newer Chihuly glass museum). It's also not too far a walk to several places to eat (west about 10 blocks to Queen Anne avenue). Parking was easy and one can drive for a mere 10 minutes and get to where ever one needs from here.

Room Tip: Some rooms face an interior parking area, and might (only might) be a bit quieter than facing the st...

We stayed here with a large group for three days in Jan. The staff were friendly & efficient, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the rate was excellent. The location was nice, with a large selection of food within walking distance--also Seattle Center and the Space Needle just blocks away. We'll definitely stay here again when in Seattle.

Quiet and clean. We had a group rate so can't discuss from perspective of value, but we got the junior suite and was Maharajah-grade experience [full kitchen]. Did not hear one door slam in three days. Was very unfortunate that got wrong directions from desk as we were driving from the airport. [or wuz it me?] And there was no sense of urgency from staff about checking us in, even though there were two staff available, one wanted to exchange life-stories with some other guests while we waited to check in. Staff are amazingly courteous. I have never seen such a small check-in area in a huge hotel [150 sq ft?]. Well, guess it adds to security. We got free parking so can't say as to value, but were able to park very conveniently to our room. Room featured a gas fireplace which was very quiet. [I know, sounds crazy to leave it on at night]. Room: Clean. Clean. Clean. Actually, heard absolutely zero noise from hallway or from other rooms. If all hotels had this priority . . . . heaven. Breakfast will not win any awards [the eggs come from the same two blocks in Michigan as all the pre-srambled eggs in America]. But the oatmeal was good, raisins fresh. Coffee very good. Coffee-maker in room worked and coffee acceptable. A sign inviting you to take breakfast to your room if you liked!!! [Even though dining area ample. ] TV remote allows you to turn off the obnoxious noise while you dine. The little things: quite serviceable cardboard "To-Go" container for oatmeal [raisins, sugar, etc]. Nice mid-morning snack. Bring hiking shoes if your room is more than half mile from desk. No charge for the flying saucer that is almost directly above the parking lot. Pizza/spaghetti place across the street is more than adequate. Huge "whole-food" style supermarket one block away [small entrance]. Ambiance outside hotel feels "safe". Anyway. Betcha can't tell my first TripAdvisor review. Or canya? Upstairs from Children's Museum near the Space Needle has very amazing food court. Great place. Easily accommodate a group of 50 in a second. [Why Seattle decided to tear up all streets at the same time is not completely clear.] Comments about hygiene follow, so sensitive people may wish to say Adieu here: Flush toilet sounds like Shuttle taking off. Stand back.
