We have stayed in many a dive hotel in dtn Seattle for a lot more money, so we decided to go further out but stay on a bus route. Aurora's main drag is not that nice, but not scary. There are some lovely homes and a beautiful park where clearly the locals are actively using for swimming and running.
The hotel clerk was SUPER nice, the place clean and at $59 compared to dtn Seattle's cheapest King's Inn at $79 [and scary and mean clerks with not so much as a coffee maker in the room] this was vast improvement. Breakfast was good, and hey, if you don't like it there's Jack in the Box next door. We bought breakfast jacks to go with our free coffee and donuts! It is right on bus route, so if you go dtn to shop and eat, you can make it back without the hassle or working of parking dtn. It was a refreshing change, and Travelodge dtn was charging twice as much, so we thought we would give this a try! Will be back and change up our plans [not a lot of nice cafes or places to go there, other than park] but good overall for price
