“True luxury, size matters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

Spent a couple of nights in downtown Seattle, Weekend getaway, couldn't been more impressed with the Olive 8 ! The rooms were huge ! Almost twice the size of a normal room. We had a corner unit with a great view of down town- higher the better for views. Bathrooms were very large and so well appointed. Looking forward to returning soon

Great hotel in a wonderful location near the retail center of Seattle and a stone's throw to the Convention Center! Stayed here for 4 days in May and witnessed not one, but TWO sunny and warm days in Seattle!!! Even the out of town MLB baseball teams stay here when they are in town to play the Mariners! I rode the elevator down with Torii Hunter of the Detroit Tigers but didn't recognize him until he was mobbed for autographs on his way out... Nice guy! Room was large and well furnished with no complaints. Large soaker tub! Staff were pleasant and great to deal with! I would definitely stay here again if ever back to Seattle! Never heard a peep from any of the neighbors! Yea!!!

Room Tip: I asked for a corner room and it was large with great views of the city!!!

Generously sized rooms with thoughtful storage solutions for stays longer than one or two nights. Easy walking to Capitol Hill neighbourhood, Pike Place Market, shops and the convention centre. Close to city bus hub as well. Lights turn off to save energy when you leave your room. Rooftop gardens and a green roof for water conservation. Another lovely Hyatt property.

Stayed for 2 nights (23 to 25 May 2014) after an Alaskan cruise. Good, comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff. Good location for visiting shops, Space Needle and Pike Street Market. Within in easy reach of the transportation system back to Seattle Airport only $2.75 (Taxi will cost $40)

Room Tip: 10th floor or above.

A gem of a hotel within walking distance of many of Seattle's attractions, restaurants and flagship stores. Clean and cool rooms as well as 5 star dining at their restaurant "Urbane".Order the Mac & Cheese with Dungeness crab and short rib sliders, EXCELLENT. A great stay made even better by their friendly and helpful staff throughout the entire property!

This is a great hotel. Perfect location, comfortable bed, modern bathroom, clean, and great service. The restaurant had good food and the breakfast counter was reasonably priced. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The wifi worked well and there were plenty of places to work in the lobby. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Seattle.

While Hyatts can be nice, this one was excellent. Brand new, my understanding is that to build it, the city of Seattle required them to be green. It is a spa like hotel (with a spa). I was there on business but wished I could stay longer and take advantage of all the treatments, spa facilities and so forth they have. When I entered the lobby to check in I was approached and offered a glass of water and green apples were available. The room was spacious, the bed comfy, and the care prompt and friendly. Highly recommended it. Very close to nice shops of Seattle.
