Corporate execs may set high standards of service, but individual staff members do the hard work of meeting those policy expectations in the trenches every minute of every day. Add the vagaries of circumstance and the wide variety of guest demeanor, that's a lot to ask. Our every encounter with each staff member at the hotel was completely pleasant and professional. Kudos as well to Four Seasons trainers and managers who assisted them in providing us with a first-class experience.

Room Tip: We live in Seattle, so the water-side view was less important to us. It was Christmastime, so we ch...

The hotel, itself, is a very nice building with good amenities and service, and is located a short half-block from Pike's Market. However, it sits on a bluff overlooking the street that runs adjacent to the harbor and the acquarium and is so positioned that only a few rooms have decent water views. These rooms, of course, charge for the privilege. However, the only other hotel near Pike's market, Inn on the Market, has a similar issue (few rooms with good water views), and this hotel is newer, has better decor and better service overall.

This was my first experience with Four Seasons and I'm hooked! I stayed for nearly two weeks for business and had just a terrific experience overall. Super-friendly and professional staff who remembered my name at every turn. Four Seasons Seattle wrote the book on customer service!

This is a great hotel in Seattle, located very centrally in the city near the Farmers Market. The bar and restaurant has a great view of puget sound, and is really nice. Great gym and a fantastick pool and jacuzzi, which is located outside and heated, from the pool you also have the view of the puget sound

Sometimes, when you are in a four seasons or ritz, you look for familiar luxury and engaged staff. This provided all of that - although the late night staff (up at 4 am because of jet lag) couldn't muster a smile when I smiled at them coming down for early coffee. I did brush my teeth and comb my hair after all! But my wife thinks I'm scary looking on a good day.

Great place though. Very kind staff at breakfast.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your stay. I am very pleased that you enjoyed the hotel but apologize for the lack of interaction during the very early morning.
The information is very helpful in improving our service -24 hours a day.
Thank you again and hope to welcome you back in the near future.
Warm regards,

My wife and I were impacted by Hurricane Sandy and had this trip to Seattle planned, we decided to go anyway and from the moment we arrived The Four Seasons staff made us feel welcomed and made us feel like we just moved into a new home. They went above and beyond and we will never forget it...

You really are getting what you pay for when you stay at any four seasons resort. In Seattle, the location really is fantastic; mere minutes walking to pikes place and the original Starbucks. As always, the staff will bend over backwards to help. I got lucky with my room, it was a corner room so it had views of the city and if you walk close to the window you can also see the water. It was quite large, and had a fantastic bathroom and tub. My parents stayed a couple rooms down (same price) but our room was far superior since it was a corner room.

Room Tip: Corner room - much larger
