“Excellent hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

A friend and I had stayed at the Alexis Hotel back in August for my birthday and first time in Seattle. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was exceptional. The ladies at check in were very sweet and the doormen very helpful. Especially when my friend and I came back from a boring bar at around 10 pm. The doorman gave us other bar options that were much better. Our room was upgraded and there was an amenity inside waiting for us. The room was very spacious. Much larger than the rooms im used to in NYC. The view was amazing. View of the water and Ferris Wheel. The concierge was extremely helpful with dinner recommendations. The restaurant she mentioned was absolutely amazing and made my last night in Seattle that much better. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a boutique hotel in downtown Seattle.

Fine location, attractive facility, good food and drink. Worst video and electronic connections I have ever experienced in a major hotel in the US. Service is friendly and clientele is young and attractive. But seriously flawed by electronics that all of us depend upon.

The staff at Alexis are really friendly and their concierge, Keith was superb in helping us make restaurant reservations, even at last minute. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are super spacious. The CO Bigelow amenities are great.
Location is perfect for exploring downtown Seattle - everything was walking distance, and I really liked the free tea and coffee.

Two small things did bug me though - there were two days during our stay when housekeeping didn't clean our room; and parking at $40/night was incredibly steep.

However, our overall stay was really great. Thank you Alexis!

Keith is definitely who you want to chat with about anything and everything there is about our great city! I'm glad to hear that he was able to get you what you needed.

Sorry about the mishap with getting your room cleaned. As we strive to constantly improve, it is constructive feedback like this that motivates and gives us direction. I'm happy to see that regardless it was still a pretty great stay! We thank you for being our guest and hope to see you in the future!

I travel to Seattle frequently for business and pleasure and my go-to hotel is always the Alexis. The staff is extremely helpful from suggesting restaurants to providing passes to the nearby art gallery. The attention to detail shows in that I'm almost always greeted by name and how the rooms are spotless. Our favorite part of the hotel may be the Bookstore Bar. The handmade cocktails are original and my husband loves their single malt scotch options. Don't miss out on trying the food as well- you won't be sorry.

Thank you for choosing us as your go-to hotel! We love that! Our handmade cocktails at the Bookstore Bar are pretty fantastic! You should try out the new late night happy hour...it's a great new addition to the bar. Well we hope to see you again soon!

We recently had an overnight stay in Seattle, we spent the night at the Alexis Hotel and love every minute of it, I just wish we had more time to explore this wonderful city and the Alexis. Staff were wonderful, friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay there again, hopefully for a longer time.

Green Features: Free loan bikes was a nice touch and environmentally friendly.

I spent 7 weeks in America at 6 different hotels in different states and the Alexis hotel wins hands down. The staff are a happy bunch of people who couldn't have been more helpful if they had tried. The hotel was lovely very comfortable and we were upgraded on arrival to a room with a spa bath. We never requested an upgrade so this was a lovely start to our stay at the Alexis. The hotel is in an excellent location close to everything, shops, restaurants and the Pike street Markets which is my favourite.

In every way this is a very nice hotel with good/great service. However the Internet access is poor to terrible. Many times I could not use the hotel wifi because it was so slow. I am a preferred guest so it is free access which it should be given the room cost but they need to upgrade the system to accommodate the average Internet user.
