Of course my husband and I started the tour a little displeased with the delay in picking us up at our hotel (our driver was waiting over 10 minutes at the prior pick up for riders - even though I think tardiness warrants a missed trip for those). The bus was horribly warm. The other riders made it fun; however, I wouldn't want to rely on fellow passengers for a good time. Our driver, J.R., was very friendly and provided an abundance of information throughout the ride. We too were told we would be skipping the Chataue St. Michelle, but that was okay with us. Honestly, the 15 minute stop at the falls and another 15 minutes at the chocolate store were a waste. In the time it took to drive to these spots, we could have visited at least one more winery. I would say the highlight was the laughs we received from the group of Texans on our tour with us having a grand time prior to their cruise to Alaska.
