“A jewel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

Other than the Smithsonian's Air and Space museum in the "other" Washington, this is arguably the best and most extensive museum in the US devoted to aviation and space travel. With the proximity to Boeing, emphasis is naturally on the history of that company and air transport in general, but there are also extensive exhibits on military aviation and space exploration. Be sure to allow time for tours of iconic “retired” airliners (including a Concorde and Air Force One) at the adjacent Air Park across Marginal Way.

The Wings Café serves surprisingly good food at reasonable prices.

“The perfect morning out for plane geeks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2012

I love planes and flying and I was delighted to get another chance to visit this fantastic museum. They have some great exhibits: a Concorde, a rare B47 bomber and an old Air Force One as well as some cool smaller planes indoors. There is plenty to do and lots to see. Probably a good half day is enough. Highly recommended.
