I liked seeing all of the different things and it's a really diverse place and since I'm from a smallish town in Minnesota, it was really cool to be there. I liked all the cool stuff that people were selling there, and the fish markets were cool too. I love downtown seattle.

If you're into flea markets then Pike Place Market is the place for you. It is basically one over grown flea market with shop after shop of mostly "junk". There are a couple of specialty shops that were interesting, but I won't be going back. After all the reviews and comments I've heard I really expected something special. It did not live up to it's billing. So if you don't like flea markets find something else to do!!!

The city is beautiful. The downtown area looks to have had lots of money put into it - because it looks restored/new and clean! Unfortunately the city doesn't put enough money into helping out the homeless that inhabit the city....
Anyways - we went to the Pike Place Market in February - not really knowing what to expect. Due to the season - I figured most vendors would not be there....but there were alot of vendors braving the chilly weather. Most were flea-market like...while others sold fresh produce, flowers, and of course fish! The original Starbucks was well worth the visit....
Remember to bring walking shoes and a camera. :)

My husband and I love the Pike Place market!! I have been there before, but this past December was my husband's first time in Seattle. I love how they have so many little booths and shops with cool and unique gift and nik nak items. If you go to Seattle, you absolutely have to go to the Pike market. There are also so many great, inexpensive places to grab a bite to eat!
