“Fantastic seafood market, must see when in Seattle!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

It is not only a fantastic sea food market with an incredible display of fantastic fish and seafood, but also the home of the very first STARBUCK coffee shop!

“Wow! The original Startbucks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

The Pike Place Market is a treat, with all the sights and smells you'd expect from a seaside market. We had to visit the original Starbucks, but were equally pleased by the Pike Place Chowder restaurant. Very authentic and award-winning! You can spend then entire day exploring if you'd like, but hit the highlights first.

“Excellent as Usual!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Their vendors are not full at the moment with the onset of winter but this is still the best place to find your favourite fruits to truffle oil and sea salts, bitters to wine!

“Dedicate at least half a day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Such friendly people; such a plethora of choices in shops! You need lots of time to do it justice, but there are lots of great little places to grab a bite to eat.

“Love this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Recently went down to meet a friend...have not been to Pike Place Market since I was a kid and heard it was "not as good as it used to be"

Well we LOVED it! Such a great mix of culture, ethnic diversity, fish throwing, great free samples, and TONS of super fun, funky shops. Come for the experience, stay for the people watching, enjoy the diversity of all the little shops up and downstairs. Just as fun as I remember!
