Very atmospheric. The place is housed in the ground floor of a historic hotel that catered to the Japanese-American community in Seattle before the Second World War. A glass panel in the floor provides a view of the basement storage room where some of the belongings of those who were interned still remain. The tea here is expensive compared with other tea houses in Seattle, but the overall experience makes visiting the Panama Hotel Tea House worthwhile.
