“Great for a walkabout of downtown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Super location, nice clean room. Staff were wonderful. I might opt for a room on a higher floor as traffic noise was quite loud. But I would return here. The bed was very comfortable and the room had lots of windows. I'm not much of a beer drinker but the free happy hour was a nice touch.

Wonderful staff, perfect location - city bike rental station just around the corner. The only con was thin windows and noice from street and airconditioners, but I would go back to Hotel Max any day!!

Even though I arrived late in the evening, the energy in the lobby was vibrant and welcoming. Every front desk attendant was knowledeable, friendly and capable.

The room was ecclectic and fun. It was just what we needed for a local, urban date. We loved the intimate elevators and the transportive art in the halls. The tub was deep and had a wonderful retro charm. Having music playing on the retro-tastic radio as you enter really set the mood.

The next morning, we indulged in buscuits, bacon and parfait. The fresh grapefruit juice spiked with vodka hit the spot and we love Café Fonté coffee!

Live your dreams to The Max, Amen!

This hotel has a huge heart in a small package. The service was excellent and responsive to my requests. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy! I felt welcomed and cared for. It is a 3 minute walk to the conference centre.

The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and nicely furnished. Not a ton of extra space, but I don't consider that a problem. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Great location, very close to Westlake and a short walk to Pike Place. Would stay there again.

Very cute remodeled older hotel, but terribly noisy and extremely small rooms. The attached restaurant, Millers Guild, was awesome! Great food and very interesting decor-sit by at the counter in front of the pit they cook the meat on...its kind of hot, but the cooks are great to speak with and fun to watch.

Best value I can imagine ; great price for downtown Seattle with classy amenities. The room was tiny but did not take away from a great experience . Twice daily free beverages encourage people to hang out and actually visit -- hardly a smart phone in sight :)

Very refreshing atmosphere with fun attentive staff.
