“Downtown , Exceptional Room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

I generally find the Kimpton hotels quite reliable for their quality -- this one is exceptional It is in a very convenient downtown location, and close to the Univ/3rd Tunnel. More importantly, the rooms are fabulous -- very spacious, tasteful, great large windows, and an extremely comfortable bed. Very relaxing stay -- clean hotel in general, courteous staff. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: try to get a corner room facing the library.

Our family of 5 had a very comfortable stay in June 2013. The rooms are huge, even for the 5 of us, and beautiful. We slept very cozily. I loved that we could walk to everything we wanted to do - Pike Place, waterfront, Monorail to Seattle Center, and the beautiful library. (Getting on and off the freeway was easy too.) My youngest loved the cucumber water in the lobby and always went for a glass. We would definitely stay here again.

We are thrilled to hear everyone in the family enjoyed their stay. The cucumber water is a favorite of many of the guests, it’s so refreshing during those warm days in the city. We hope to welcome you back to the hotel very soon.

We stayed here the night before the Rock and Roll Marathon so I was worried about getting good rest, I was really scared when I saw that my room #210 was right at street level with the sidewalk right outside my windows.

Our room was HUGE and the bathroom was nice a big as well. It was very clean and the bed was super comfy! The only thing I didnt care so much about was the down comforter since I got really hot ! but I just threw it off and was fine.

The room was very quiet for being where it was! I was able to sleep all night and get a great rest! I was impressed! The service was impeccable except I wanted a pot of coffee in the morning and the menu said $9 ...I was charged $15 for it. :( Thats a pretty pricey small pot of coffee!

I hate paying $39 for parking...I would rather they built it in the cost of the rooms but I understand its a standard practice downtown. I did enjoy my stay at the Vintage Park and would stay again as well as recommend it to friends.

Congratulations on participating in the marathon, we love being able to help support the marathon runners of the world. All of the staff at the hotel love to stand out and cheer on the runners as they pass in front of the hotel. One of our favorites this year was the gentleman dribbling a ball down the entire 5th avenue. I wonder if he was able to do the entire marathon like that? Thank you for taking the time to post a review, we are glad you were able to get your much needed rest before the big day. We hope to welcome you back next year and make it an annual tradition.

We first stayed at the Vintage Park several years ago and at that time we had never heard of the Kimpton Hotel group. Since then we've stayed at the Vintage Park two more times and have stayed in Kimpton Hotels all over the country. Not surprisingly the hotel has a wine theme. Each room is named after a winery and is decorated in wine colors: gold, burgundy and purple. On this stay we had a beautiful corner room with two window walls and a spacious seating area. The wine hour (a feature of all Kimpton Hotels) always features Washington state wines. As usual, the staff was friendly and helpful. The only glitch was when they called us at 7:15 for a 6:30 wake up. They apologized profusely and offered to arrange transportation, but since we were up anyway it made no difference to us.

Be sure to try their restaurant, Tulio. We had a delightful meal there.

Thank you so much for the glowing review of your stay. We can feel the love all the way from the east coast to us. Thank you for pointing out our wine hour, we do feature local wineries and sometimes we are able to get local wineries from the area to pour to help broaden the wine knowledge. Again thank you for the 5 star review and we hope the next time you travel to Seattle we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back.

I booked the Vintage Park through Hotwire. I have always had a great experience booking hotels this way and wasn't disappointed. The Vintage Park is a lovely quiet hotel perfectly located just blocks from Pike Place market, Pioneer Square, and public transportation terminals.
There is coffee service every morning, wine tastings (of local wines!) every evening with appetizers from the also wonderful in-hotel restaurant, Tulios. Additionally, the hotel conveniently offers 24-hour room service.
My husband utilized the business center for printing a boarding pass and was pleased with the experience. We didn't make use of the fitness center thanks to all the walking we did during our exploration of the city or the in-room spa services.
The staff is wonderful, the room was very clean and comfortable though small. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Pass up maid service as often as possible and get vouchers good for Tulios or room service.

This hotel is right in the heart of Seattle, blocks from Pike Market, Pioneer Square and monorail. The rooms are modern, spotless and quiet. We asked for a quiet room on an upper story and loved it. It's in an old building and has been completely renovated while keeping its charm. They offer free wine in the lobby from 5-6p and the staff couldn't be nicer. We would definitely stay there again. Book online on their site for the best rates.

Room Tip: Our room was on an upper story and faced the back, not the street. Very quiet.

We stayed here in June 2013 for our 50th year celebration trip. We were there the night before a cruise as a gift from our son. We had originally booked on our own, another local hotel for 3 nights after our cruise, but found out just before going on the cruise that their rooms were not accessible to my husband's mobility cart. We were upset and wondering what to do, but Brian, at the front desk, was very kind, and helped us work out the details of a room here at the last minute. We loved this Kimpton hotel, and all of the staff were gracious and kind. We loved the location, the wine receptions, and our King Corner room was spacious and nice. Thanks again Brian for keeping our much anticipated trip from being ruined!
