Came to Seattle for a weekend. Couple things I wanted to do and go see. Didn't make any sort of reservations ahead of time so other places I called and looked up were booked. Found this place online, looked it up on tripadvisor, and came to the conclusion I really had no choice.
Place is within walking distance of the space needle, pacific science center and downtown. But due to a myriad of street construction, the parking lot was maze like getting to. And the parking lot is cramped.
Room itself has some things you'd expect: television (which may be on its last legs, picture seemed to be bleed), refrigerator, coffe pot & microwave (both of which needed to be plugged in which unplugged television, due few outlets), dresser & night stands (really outdated by the looks), bed, table (which constituted as the desk). No iron and ironing board. My room faced the busy city street (not a problem for me, used to city noise), window had continual condensation from the apparent humidity in the hotel (should that be a concern?).
Bathroom was average, wasn't expecting a whole lot due to price, came with two towels (looked cheap), wash rag, two pouches of shampoo & conditioner, three bars of soap. Water was good, seemed to have one setting: warm. Add a touch of cold, water got icy. Tub was slow draining. Door was concerning, a good half inch, maybe 3/4 inch gap on the bottom.
Lobby area has tables for continental breakfast (never ate their continental), flat screen TV, fridge in which they sold beverages. Pool is hella wack, green, dark dirty water (looks like they don't bother cleaning), same went for the hot tub. Elevator seemed quite dated, and slow. Even for a three story hotel.
Check-in was quite quick.
Really have no "bad" things about this hotel, except I sure as hell won't swim in their pool or relax in their hot tub. Everything else just goes under the "you get what you pay for column" and that's to be expected.
Would I stay here again? No. Would I stay here if I made no prior reservations anywhere else? No, I'll make prior reservations elsewhere next time.
