“Great Value, Centrally located in Downtown Seattle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

To simplify this, I am a member of SPG (proudly). I have never disappointed at any previous locations that I had chose to stay with...and I anticipated on lowering lower the expectations. For the price and value - It's the best in town. The indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing deck are great bonuses. The hotel does need a little update, but it's worthy for the rate and it has plenty of room to accommodate, yet I didn't feel like I was being neglected. Centrally located to everything (Pike Market, Restaurants, Shops, Metro/Light Rails (to Airport and others), Space Needle, etc)...Every room has a view, and if you are lucky, you will get the Waterview and Space Needle in one. I would stay here again.
Safe Travel !

Room Tip: SPG Member status is definitely recommended (get a better view for your room and later check out tim...

The good: Great view of the space needle from the 24th floor. Nice, comfortable bed with clean linens. Great counter space in the bathroom. Coffee maker in the room. Plenty of power outlets.

The not-so-good: The wait for an elevator was always long, sometimes more than 5 minutes. We found this quite annoying (as did other guests), for a hotel of this caliber. The daily charge for parking was more than we paid to rent a full sized car. Low water pressure in the bathroom.

I did not have my usual positive stay at the Westin property----prices for food at the hotel were too high and accommodations for adjoining rooms with my granddaughters were not forthcoming. Disappointed with room service had to request items more than once and their bar service in lobby area was non existent.Westin generally does a better job---Also when time to leave the shuttle service was 40 minutes late while we sat waiting in area to be picked up for airport.Whatever you do take taxi van or limoto airport NOT SHUTTLE as you will have to drag your bagge down three flights t register for your plane.Alaska Air was excellent.

Stayed at the Westin recently for a conference and it was a delightful experience. Upon request, I received a room on a high floor for the view, which included an excellent view of Mount Ranier. I could also see the bay and watch the new ferris wheel from my room (3638). Though right across from the elevator, the room was very quiet. The bed was fabulous! Best bed ever in a hotel. All of the staff were very helpful. Nice bar in the lobby. Service was very fast.

Room Tip: Higher floors give better views. North Tower is higher than South. Room 3638 had a good view of Mo...

This hotel is in the heart of it all! It is older, so not as appealing as nearby Bellvue Westin. The staff is primarily very friendly. Like many have said there are a few team members here who have no right being in contact with guests, but that happens everywhere! Location makes up for any other deficites! I like the decor of my room, and housekeeping here is top notch!

Room Tip: Two round towers like the Millennium Hotels in St. Louis and Cincinatti. Fortunately, this former St...

Booked an Executive Suite or a few days before a cruise. Location can't be beat as near tourist spots and transportation as well as shopping. Pretty quiet and Concierge very helpful. Relish, hotel restaurant, is good but pricey.

We stayed at the Westin recently and were very pleased to see that the bathrooms had been updated, they now feature a rain type showerhead, and new countertops. The room had new carpet and furnishings. As always, the bed was very comfortable. We checked in extremely early, before 7 am and were able to get into our room by 9:30 am. That was a pleasant surprise. The location of this property is fantastic. Easy walking distance to Pike Place Market. We took a much longer walk along Elliot bay to the cruise ship terminal for Princess and Holland America. We were lucky enough to be in Seattle when the weather was perfect! We look forward to our next stay.

Green Features: We took advantage of the green service. Which meant no maid service. However we were able to get clean towels and more shampoo, conditioner. I don't change my sheets every night at home. It was a great option for us.
