“Great Stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

Our over-night stay at the Edgewater in Seattle was great! Kayla at the front desk was nice enough to upgrade our room just because of the fact that it was our anniversary celebration that night, getting us a room far better than what we would have originally gotten. The room service was a little troubling, with not getting exactly what we ordered, however the food was exceptional still and during checkout we voiced our disappointment in the order and quickly got it taken off our bill. Valet was very friendly and polite, even letting us keep our car there after we checked out to avoid racking up more parking fees throughout the city. In all I would highly recommend staying at the Edgewater! You won't regret it!

Great Hotel, and they are there for everything you need. Needed scissors and they brought to room in like 2 minutes. Thanks for the great hospitality. Of course there is a great view as well. Had brunch at the restraunt which was very good as well.

I had long since looked forward to staying at the legendary Edgewater hotel, as a music history geek I was overenjoyed when I was able to take my wife, all the way from Iceland and stay for one night there.
The room was very good, the view breathtaking and the staff very courteous. We ordered dinner up to our room and had a very enjoyable night. Until 4:30 in the morning.
Our neighbour was having a family emergency and we could hear every single word through the walls. Not only what she was saying but even what the person on the other end of the phone was saying. The sound insulation is that bad!
Having no possibility of sleeping any more we checked out at 8:30 in the morning and the we were pretty sour, let me tell you. Before posting this review I sent an email to the management at the Edgewater, offering them a chance of redeeming themselves - I never got a reply. So I guess they don't care.

This was probably a one-off chance that this could happen but nevertheless it completely destroyed an experience that I was much, much looking forward to.

I will not stay there again, even though I frequently travel to Seattle.

My husband and I are locals, and were looking for a nice place to go for a night out without our two children. We saw that the Edgewater had wonderful reviews, and decided to try it! Right away we were impressed by the unique, 'Northwest-styled' and elegant decor. The service was excellent - they asked if we were staying for any particular reason and we explained that we were celebrating my husband's birthday with a 'staycation' away from our kids. They were very kind in offering us either a room upgrade or a round of drinks (we chose the drinks! Which btw were very delicious). Our room was very cozy and clean, with a nice little fireplace and a very modern bathroom with rustic elements (such as large stones throughout the shower which was nice touch). The view of the city was lovely from our window, as well. We got a AAA discount with our stay, and were able to get a complimentary breakfast. The dining room is gorgeous - we ate our breakfast with a spectacular view that was incredibly enjoyable to soak in while eating a scrumptious meal. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater and definitely plan on returning! It is a place that we would happily recommend to friends, family, or anyone else who is planning on having a comfortable and classy stay in Seattle!

Wonderful room within walking distance to just about everything. Good food and lounge, although kind of pricey. But the pier and Pikes Market just a mile away as well as a lot of great Belltown shops and food. Parking is really expensive. The rooms are cozy, had a full water view and it was beautiful to watch the ferries, the birds, the fishing boats while sitting next to my fireplace reading. Everyone we met in the hotel were so kind and really made the hotel a top notch experience. We had a little trouble getting timely info from the concierge but he was very kind and was trying to help.
