“Never stayed in downtown Seattle before”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

Hotel Andra is a great place to stay. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is great, close to everything downtown. Our package included valet parking and late check out. Very refreshing and relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: We were on the 4th floor facing the street so there was some traffic noise and we heard police siren...

A lovely boutique hotel in a great location. It's surrounded by fantastic restaurants - about 5 Tom Douglas establishments within 300 ft. of the hotel's front door. Pike Place Market and Westlake Center (the monorail) are within walking distance. Taxis are usually outside the hotel but the staff is always on hand to hail one for you if needed.

The standard king room I booked was on par with hotels in large metropolitan cities. WiFi is free and the common areas are a great place to just read a book or entertain friends.

The staff is professional and had wonderful suggestions for things to do in Seattle. Room service was quick, even at peak hours, and Lola's menu is phenomenal. At this price point, I would recommend the Andra for a Seattle home base.

Two girlfriends and I booked a room at Hotel Andre for a weekend of holiday cheer and shopping. Making a reservation was very simple. When we arrived for an early checkin on Friday, we were greeted by friendly staff from the valet to the front desk personnel. The front office staff offered to make dinner reservations for us, which was a nice surprise. After spending the day at the tree lighting ceremony at Westlake Center and dinner and Assaggio's we headed back to Hotel Andre. We spent time visiting on the second floor lobby. We helped ourselves to some bagged ice before heading to our room 712 for the evening. It was perfect! Our beds were turned down, the drapes were closed, and there were Seattle Chocolates waiting for us by the bed. Our room was extremely quite and peaceful. We slept great! We got up the next morning, packed up our belongings, and headed out for breakfast and a trip to Pike's Place Market. Again the front office staff was great when it came to checking out. They offered to hold our bags until we returned later that afternoon. We started out at Dahlia Bakery for a coconut pie "bite" and piroshky at the market. When we returned to Hotel Andre, the valet did an excellent job, greeting us by name and running to go get our car. We loved this place!

Great place to stay when going to Jazz Alley! A studio room is great for a one night stay and a night on the town. Excellent restaurants on the premises and across the street, Lola, Dahlia Lounge and Bakery and Serious Pie (pizza). Excellent service all around!

I had a choice of staying at a sterile soulless business hotel like the Hyatt or the Andra. It's a simple but well-run hotel: nice rooms, nice common rooms, clean, quiet, comfortable, the staff are friendly, there is a good restaurant (Lolas) and more good restaurants a few feet away. Free wireless Internet.

We found this hotel when looking for a hotel package for the King Tut exhibit. This property had a lot of great reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. I booked a lux suite for my husband, son and me and was pleasantly surprised.

The room was a very decent size, the sofa bed was super comfortable (I think it was one of the American Leather sofa beds which are really well built and have a great mattress). The bedroom was a decent size, and the sheets were very comfortable. I thought that the mattress on the sofa bed was actually more comfortable than the bed (they should upgrade that a bit).

I thought the bathroom was cute (which means it was well decorated but very small, especially for sharing).

This hotel is located in the city, so yes, you can hear street noises, but not all night and we did not hear anything once we got settled in the room.

Everything was clean, the staff was SUPER nice and friendly. Wish we could have stayed another night. BTW, the King Tut exhibit was fun too.

I recently stayed on the ninth floor of this hotel and was very pleased with the entire experience. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom was equally large & comfortable. There were robes provided with the room, which were a nice addition. I enjoyed the decor of the room immensely and the view of the harbor was fantastic. I would definitely stay again, though I would've enjoyed a bathtub in the room. The shower was large enough for multiple people and the water pressure was perfect.

Thanks Hotel Andra!
