This hotel was only a few blocks from Pike's Place and the tram, so it was convenient to walk around if you wanted to stay downtown. We did not have a car since we only stayed here for one night. We took a taxi to get to the hotel from the airport (around $30). The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful. It has an impressive lobby. Stay in the pike tower if you have a chance. We had a peak view of the space needle. Conveniently located about 5 blocks up from Pike's place and 3 blocks over to the monorail to the space needle. If it's raining hard take the monorail to the space needle ($2 each way) versus walking (~1mile). We walked to it and were soaked.

My husband said the gym was great...two floors of equipment with great city views.

The city grill attached to the hotel was a nice place for late night appetizers. There is also lots of shopping just steps outside the hotel. The hotel was very close to the convention center.

The grayline airporter drops off right in front of the hotel. It was really easy to get to and from the hotel with this service. Round trip cost was $18.

I travelled to Seattle with my children (7 & 10) for a performance at the 5th Avenue theatre. I must admit that I booked through priceline and got a great price and from reading other reviews I expected service on par with what I paid. I did not get this at all. From the time we arrived (early check in at 1pm) we were served with a smile and exeptional attitude. When I acknowledged that we were early but hoped to be able to change before heading to a matinee performance at the theatre the lady at the front desk genuinely seemed happy to let us check in early. I asked if our room had 2 beds as per my email request and it did. The only mention of the fact that I had purchased the room through priceline was a mention that the room was already paid for.

Our room was on the 25th floor and afforded us a slight view of the water and a great view of the Westin (where my husband and I usually stay when we travel alone to Seattle). The room met our needs - it was clean and well appointed but not the luxurious feel of the Westin rooms we have stayed in.
The housekeeping supervisor knocked on our door and asked if she could check the caulking in the bathroom. She was quick to say she could certainly return if the time was not convenient. Her friendly attitude and offer of more towels when she noted that there were 3 of us in the room (it was already made up with towels for 3) and more coffee was just a signal as to why she occupied her management role.

While in Seattle we visited the Market a couple of times and the Sheraton's location is fantastic...when we are at the Westin it is a steep climb up a hill to return to the hotel but with the Sheraton it is such a gentle incline one barely notices they are walking uphill.

We ate in the hotel at the Daily Grill for supper and were pleasantly surprised. I had expected a more casual dining experience from the reviews I had read but my hazelnut crusted mahi mahi was prepared very well. The selection of wine was expansive and well priced for any budget. The children's meals were very much to the liking of my girls. The service we received was timely and friendly - noting that it was 7 when we entered the restaurant our waiter asked if we had any time constraints ( a nice touch for a family if they need to eat quickly or get to a theatre production or game).
We used the pool for a 1/2 hour on Saturday after dinner since it was occupied by older teenagers playing pass in the pool and young adults getting cozy in the hottub. Several other families arrived during that time frame.
On Sunday morning we got up and headed to the pool by 8:30; there were several families playing and others who were swimming laps. Warning:The hot tub was murky so we got out quite quickly.
From the valets to the reception desk to the restaurant staff and beyond the service made the Sheraton one of the shining stars of our weekend. Thanks for a great stay!!

We stayed at this Sheraton for 3 days at the end of hour brief tour of the NW and British Columbia. I reserved our room through the Priceline. At $75 per night, the price was unbeatable.

The hotel is located 6 long city blocks from the Market, most of it uphill. We love walking. Others would likely have to take a cab to the Warf, the Market, and the cruise terminal. This general area of the downtown was very busy, but felt safe both day and night. The convention center is located right next door. Many good restaurants and excellent shops are with in walking distance.

Our room was spacious and similar to other Sheraton hotels. Bedding was comfortable. Bathroom had all the usual amenities. Everything was very clean.

This hotel is huge with multiple towers. Because of that, the staff seems overwhelmed; the service is very impersonal. Late afternoon, long line forms at the check-in counter, cruise ship passengers, airline crews, and tour groups. The concierge desk fairs no better. We waited in line for half an hour. The concierge had only the most basic information and helped us little with local museums and transportation connections.

If you are heading to the airport, use the convenient shuttle that stops at the hotel.

Overall, if you want cheap, safe, modern, spacious, moderately convenient place in downtown Seattle consider this Sheraton. However, if you want charm, personal service, and helpful staff go somewhere else. This is not a place for romance.

We stayed here for one night preceding our 15-day cruise from Seattle the next day. We arrived from the UK after a 10-hour flight so we were jetlagged and unable to sleep, but the reception staff checked us in very quickly and efficiently and our room, on the 15th floor, had great downtown views of the Seattle city and harbour.

The room was very quiet and pleasant and we appreciated the cafetiere which allowed us to make fresh, filtered coffee the next morning. The bathroom was immaculately clean and there was a good selection of toiletries (including conditioner; hardly any places give you conditioner!)

The lounge bar had a nice ambience and was quiet and relaxing, with very comfortable settees and chairs. We enjoyed a chilled wine or two whilst trying to staying awake as long as possible!

We did not have to check out until midday which meant we had a chance to look around the city before leaving for the pier.

A nice place to stay and I would definitely come again if I get the chance.
