“Second good stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

We spent 4 nights here and this was our second stay in the past two years. As a tourist we find the location to be super and the main reason we chose the Mayflower. We took light rail from the airport to the end (Westlake Center) and walked to the hotel lobby from a "Hotel Entrance" hall in the Center. Couldn't be more convenient. It would be better if every day they didn't have the entrance blocked off in the hotel due to special functions.
The rooms have everything one could want except for a small refrigerator. We take a Queen (only size beds here) Deluxe and highly recommend room 1221 - it has pocket doors separating the bedroom from the "living room".
We really like the restaurant and the cocktail lounge and ate breakfast and dinner in one or the other. The locals fill them up so it must be popular.

“Wonderful stay....great value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Had a two day stay at this great hotel. Right across the street to Macy's, Starbucks a block away, Nordstrom 5 minute walk, great restaurants within walking distance, a wonderful wine tasting time at Oliver's , friendly staff, comfy beds, nice toiletries, amazingly quiet, clean room.......need I go on? Would go again.

Room Tip: Loved the suite. We were 3 sisters, and the extra room was nice.

“Good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

My husband and I spent one night at the Mayflower during our recent trip to Seattle and while the staff was very attentive, it was not an extraordinary hotel. Our room was small and only had a shower. For the price, I was expecting a little more.

What's great about the Mayflower was its location. We got up early and headed down to the Market before the tourist onslaught.

We did a late check-in and the staff was very friendly, which I appreciate.

I brought ear plugs, so I slept great.

“Wonderful experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Our family stayed here one night as part of a "staycation" theater weekend in Seattle. We were graciously upgraded to a corner queen suite. Great views, lots of room for two kids and my husband & I. (Two bathrooms!) The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We parked in the lot at Westlake center next door - be aware that you cannot get into the lot when the mall is closed, though. However $7 for parking for the entire weekend was a great deal! The kids keep asking when we can stay here again.

“Wireless Internet was Free - do you hear that other Seattle hotels!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

-- I have stayed a couple of times in downtown Seattle for business, but this was the first time at the Mayflower Park. They had all the usual wants; clean, comfortable, and very helpful staff.
-- A couple of things made this hotel different. This time I stayed in a suite. It was nice that each room of the suite had its own digital thermostat. I kept the living room a little warmer than the bed room.
-- The wireless internet was free. The last place I stayed in Seattle changed ten dollars a night. Once by the airport, I stayed somewhere that changed five dollars an hour.
-- The hotel is on the other side of the block from an entrance to the Westlake train station. The train was $2.50 to the airport. This saved me cab fare. Everything else downtown was in walking distance including Pike’s Place.
-- Finally the bartenders at the hotel bar were very engaging. They did a nice job making everyone feel welcome. They had the unpleasant task of staying neutral on election night. The bar had huge picture windows that overlooked the street, which was nice for people watching.
