“Classic hotel in the heart of Seattle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2012

We recently stayed at the Mayflower for five days. It is wonderfully situated for somebody coming from the airport. The Sound Transit comes extremely close to their front door. It could hardly get any easier and efficient. The doorman are not only courteous but informative and friendly. The lobby is beautiful without being pretentious. We were aware that their rooms might be considered small so we requested the mini suite. The mini suite is economically priced and is very comfortable. It not only had a comfortable sized bathroom but also a separate vanity and wet bar area, a decent sized closet, a desk area, a comfortable sized living area with a nice sized television and a seperate bedroom with pocket doors. The bathroom is stocked with permanent full sized toiletries. The bed was wonderful to sleep in-not too hard and not too soft. There is also another television in the bedroom as well. At check in we were provided a coupon to their restaurant- use it! Our view of the city was wonderful!

Room Tip: Ask for the twelve floor as there are no ice machines on that floor so it is quiet. Also, the view...

“Great Staycation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2012

This was our first time at the Mayflower and we will be making it a midwinter break tradition from now on. From the $5.00 parking special, to the 5% rate special, and a new guest, room upgrade, it just kept getting better. The location is terrific for sightseeing and shopping. We didn't need a car in spite of the rainy weather. The front desk accommodated us for both early check in and late check out. Our room service was good and very prompt. Overall the service was excellent. This small quiet gem is not to be missed.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor and there was minimal street noise. We also had the treat of a visiting...

“Great Weekend Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

This was our third stay at the Mayflower Park. Each time it is great, but even better this time. From check in to check out the staff were excellent. All the staff were attentive and were always asking what they could assist us with. Oliver's is a great lounge and the Royale cocktail was delicious. This is a beautiful lounge, a relaxing place to sip and talk. Andaluca is the restaurant at the hotel. Excellent breakfast. The crab omelette was tasty and seasoned expertly. I would recommend the Mayflower for a greatstay in the heart of Seattle. Valet parking is a bonus in this location!

Room Tip: Some rooms on the south side look out at the roof heat units. The north and west side rooms look out...

“Can't Wait”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2012

I have booked mayflower hotel for july 7th and just can't wait to go after reading all the great reviews. Called the hotel directly to book and that was a very positive experience. We go to seattle each year for a cruise and am so happy to have found this hotel instead of the usual cookie cutters we have been staying in. Will let you know how it was upon our return home.

“Would stay again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2012

Went for a girl's shopping weekend and had a great stay at the Mayflower Park. After starting off in the wrong direction the first day, we discovered that the shopping we came to Seattle to do was right near our hotel (if you don't know the area, ask the concierge). And the Pike Market is within easy walking distance. The most delicious breakfast place is across the road pretty much - Lola. The room was nice and the girls were really happy with the hotel (I had booked it). I have stayed in more modern and fancy hotels but this hotel wins with its character and an old fashioned feeling of elegant comfort. Plus, the room we had had TWO lovely bathrooms!!! We three girls we were so happy about that. It was the perfect location to freshen up at between shopping outings and meals, walking everywhere. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and we were very impressed. I would definitely stay there again! This hotel charmed us and we have fond memories. Great value - in January it was $160.

Room Tip: Our room had two bathrooms! Wow! It was on the 8th floor with two queen beds. Didn't hear ano...
