Just spent a weekend celebrating a friend's birthday at Inn at the Market and could not have been happier. We called a restaurant ourselves, no tables available; the folks at In at the Market called, and we got a table (and this was for a party of six on a Saturday night). We got some flowers for the birthday girl at the Market and asked if they could go her room before she checked in -- no problem. They even supplied a vase. Another friend who couldn't make it sent a bottle of wine. The folks at the front desk arranged to have glasses and a bottle opener sent to the lobby so we could enjoy the Christmas decorations an a glass by the fire. Understand there's a renovation on the way, which will only make this gem shine more brightly.

First-time visit to Seattle in mid-December. Wanted a location within walking distance of lots of amenities. The Inn fitted the bill perfectly. Lovely 8th floor room with beautiful water view. Friendly staff. Comfy king bed with great bedding. Nice clean room, but they really could use a makeover. For the rates charged, we expected something a little more upscale. Arms of chairs were worn. Very drafty around windows, making it uncomfortable to sit at the table and enjoy the view or watch TV. Huge bathroom; a jacuzzi tub with separate shower would have been great. Overall, an enjoyable stay with a good night's sleep.

My husband and I live in Tacoma, but we love Inn at the Market and come here as often as we can. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Seattle. Every detail is perfect. We have stayed in many different rooms including the less expensive city view, right up to suites. I'm not a person of superlatives, but I cannot think of one criticism. We love Inn at the Market!

Stayed here twice in December, can now never return to Seattle and stay anywhere but Inn at the Market. Great location, staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely clean well maintained rooms, such comfortable beds that you really don't want to get up in the morning.
