“a great choice before or after paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

We were at the end of our two week road trip and looking for a place to stay that was within a couple hours of the airport.I knew nothing of Provins but saw it was rated on the Michelin map so we decided to give it a try.We picked the hotel based on prior reviews and its an excellent choice. We enjoyed our total experience in Provins.
The hotel has an excellent location. Its a refurbished building across from an ancient church. Its totally modern inside and very nicely furnished. There is a welcoming lobby and decent breakfast room. The breakfast was very satisfying and reasonable compared to other hotels on our trip. The staff was very helpful and pleasant,Parking is easy and free just a hundred feet down the road.
The room were nicely furnished and a decent size. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and a nice size. Its a new hotel so lots of modern amenities.
The town itself is great. Its very medieval and the older area is minutes away though uphill. There are excellent ramparts and the walls go around most of the town..We were there before the season but during the summer there are medieval tournaments and falconry.I thoroughly enjoyed walking around the town and would recommend visiting. Its a perfect stop coming from the west and needing a place to stay rather then stay at an airport hotel. The airport was about two hours away and we easily made it there the next day

Excellent location, superior service, fine building and impeccable rooms. If you're going to Provins, that's the place to stay. Modern rooms, very well designed.
The service is wonderful, desk personnel are more than kind and helpful.
We hope we can go back again.

An awsome Hotel in Provins.
Very modern, beautiful, charming, clean with a good decoration in the middle of a pictoresque and medieval city.
Breakfast (sucrée-salée) is very good and tasty.
Staff is kind, gentil, prestative.
Rooms are clean, confortable. Bathroons are also clean.
Localization is perfect.
It's really perfect!

This is a brand very elegant new hotel. The new hotel is exactly across the street from an ancient church which adds to the charm. Though the lobby of the hotel is spacious the rooms are tiny, though comfortable enough and very quiet. Provins is a tiny city and with a few steps you are at the central street. The breakfast is not worthy. Overall we though it was a very good option for a sleep over in this city close to Paris, often a stop going out from or going back to Paris. We recommend without hesitation.

This little hotel is a gem. Formerly the Post Office (therefore an elegant fin-de-siecle building to start with) it has been gutted and remade as a minimalist white-decor boutique hotel. Smallish rooms have aircon, state of the art fixtures, and a chrome and white ultra-modern theme, blending well against the building's history. Multilingual staff, friendly welcome, and a lovely terrace. Well worth a visit. And the town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy!

When you're looking for something better then the standard major brand hotels, Le Cesar is the hotel you need. The tastefull decorated and open lobby / reception area creates a warm atmosphere of hospitality and professionalism. The rooms are nice and clean, the bathroom offers everything one needs. The staff has a high mission of service and the breakfast offers a nice variety of fresh food.
The hotel is at walking distance from the touristic area, so you don't need your car. Just park it at the free parking at 200m from the hotel and leave it there for the duration of your stay in this interesting city.

Room Tip: The rooms with view on the 'high city'.
