they were doing a busy tourist trade and the food while good, adequate, and hot was nothing remarkable. if any thing some what over priced fare for ground steak and mashed potatoes.

Not only was the food superb, but they opened up for lunch for me, my wife and mother when they normally don't open for lunch at all! I'd sent them a note that it was my mother's 75th birthday and we only had an hour between excursions on our cruise. I didn't know that they only were open for dinner. But they emailed me back and said they'd be happy to open just for us. And they did. Would anyone else anywhere do something that nice? And, to cap it all off, the meal was wonderful. So go to the Stowaway -- but don't make them open up for lunch unless it's an emergency!
