I spent one night at this hotel recently. While overall my stay was good, and the staff I interacted with were certainly pleasant, I will say that this hotel seemed to fall a bit short of the experience I had at two other Hampton Inns at which I recently stayed.
The most minor observation was the breakfast area. It seemed a bit on the small side, and the layout of the food selection seemed to result in guests congregating in one corner. This resulted in bottlenecks for getting cereal and other items in that corner.
I am not sure whether the problem rests with my laptop (a Windows 8 OS laptop), but I could not maintain a wireless connection. I did have my iPhone on wireless at the same time, and that too may have contributed to the problem. Whatever the cause, it was frustrating but when I switched my laptop to a wired connection, the connection was fine.
The bathroom was not well laid out. It was spacious, but with a lot of unused space. The shower stall was a bit on the small side, with little shelf space. However my biggest complaint was that the shower stall door opens right into the toilet. It would seem much better to have it open the opposite direction.
For the weekend AAA rate, the hotel is a good value, and as I noted, staff were friendly and competent, but overall this hotel seemed to be a notch below other Hampton Inns.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on our property. I am glad to know that you was pleased with my staff. I am sorry to know that you experienced problems with our wireless connection, I will check into it to make sure that others do not experience the same problem. Because of safety standards the shower door must open away from the bathroom door, so that if someone is walking in it will prevent an accident. I truely thank you for bring the layout of our breakfast to my attention I see exactly what you are saying in reference to the area being cluttered. You can rest assure I will rearrange it.
