“History brought to life.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014 via mobile

The museum has done a wonderful job of making sure the history is interactive and fun. The gun collection is amazing.
The General is great. To imagine that it has been so well preserved after 150 years.
Although I dont have young children we went through the kids area since there weren't any there while we were there, its great and kids will love it. Many interactive games to help them learn!
Well done!

Great place. The staff worked so hard to make this a great venue. The whole city was a terrific place. Love the southern hospitality.

“Great for Grandsons!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

We have 5 grandsons and have taken all of them to this great little museum. The displays are very interesting and the play room with the play trains is always a good way to keep the little ones entertained for an hour or so. They were also enthralled with the short movie in the theater and of course the beautiful General at the end of the tour.

“We love History!”

Great Museum! Tons of things to see! Much larger inside that it looked from the outside.A Large collection of items from the Civil War with a nice size collection of guns and rifles from that era.

“great history lesson”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

very reasonable cost , fun and informative way to spend a few hours or a day , very clean and well kept inside and out , so much to see and learn or remember for us older folks . So many different displays from trains , tools and firearms . A great place to educate the young . While not very busy on the day of our visit we still took over 4 hours to take it all in . Whats real nice is that you can leave to eat a bite of lunch and return to finish your tour if you choose and at no extra cost ,just see someone at the tour . The only thing I could fault is that some of the areas and displays need a little more light , other than the lighting issues a GREAT FAMILY VALUE and worth the side trip off the interstate about 15 minutes ,and you get to meet some of the fine folks of Kennesaw . Lots of places to eat and stay the night in the area so you can stay at the museum all day and not have a long drive back home if your from out of town .
