Spent three wonderful nights with Leigh and her family. This bed and breakfast exceeded my expectations on almost every front. We stayed in the 2nd floor Raspberry Room, a large bright room, which has a very comfortable king bed and a huge bathroom with two pedestal sinks, a jetted tub/shower combo. The bedding was to die for, very high thread count linens. The room was exceptionally clean; I dropped the back of an earring under the bed, raised the bed skirt found my earring but absolutely no dust! I would love to think my home is this clean.
Each morning breakfast was served at two times. The table was set immaculately and the food served looked like it was made for a magazine spread and tasted great. One morning we had an early morning fishing trip, Leigh provided a soft-side cooler full of bagels, cream cheese, jelly, fruit, cereal bar, and juice, for our take along breakfast.
There is a guest laundry downstairs that is very clean and fairly priced. Detergent and dryer sheets are available.
The home was designed as a B&B, the owner's quarters are on one side of the home, the guest rooms, kitchen, dining room and living room are on the other, with one small guest room downstairs, and four rooms upstairs above the public rooms. The only complaint, if you can call it that, is that the stairs accessing the 2nd floor are beautiful but somewhat steep and could be a problem for some to negotiate with bulky luggage.
I would stay here again and recommend to friends.
