Sourdough Sunrise B&B does indeed have beautiful woodwork. And some very nice quilt work as well. But we were disappointed in the hospitality of our hosts. It's the only B&B that I've ever stayed in where we were locked out of the kitchen/den except at breakfast! (When asked, they did unlock it for us - but the host specifically said that it's not the way that he does things there.)
But one of the things that I value in the B&B experience is the feeling of not being confined to a single room. I've never actually cooked anything at a B&B, other than microwaving some water for tea, but I like to be able to feel that I can. I like to be able to browse their books in a common room. And that was what this lacked.
Breakfast seemed a bit plain - I've come to expect truly nice breakfasts at B&Bs that offer full breakfast, or else volume plus variety. Breakfast here was coffee or tea, pancakes, bacon and fruit. At least the fruit was different on the two days, and fresh. I have other minor complaints, all trivial, which taken alone were inconsequential, but taken all together added up to disappointment.
They are nice people, and he is an excellent finish carpenter, but hotel keeping is not their metier.
This B&B is located on Old Exit Glacier Rd, just outside the Seward city limits, so the location is fine, as long as you have a car. Exit Glacier is worth visiting and not too strenuous.
