I think Yoly's Bistro is an OK restaraunt over all. They have nice furniture, live music, and beautiful art decorations. The only problem is that the food was a little over priced, and some of it wasn't good. My favorite was the soup of the day. I also liked the Hot pot and Pad Tai. The only problem is that the Hot Pot was expensive. Some of the food was very good though, but lunch was alot better than dinner. I went to dinner and the food wasnt as great as lunch was. I definetly would recomend eating here for lunch if you are visiting Seward.

Seward is an unassuming town heavily reliant on tourists. Most restaurants are basic, a few are nice. Yoly's was outstanding.

I was at Yoly's early June '07. The menu was totally unexpected with complex, interesting dishes. Not your normal tourist fare. Never expected to find a chef in Seward but we did. If you want fish and chips or a plain old halibut steak, save money and go somewhere else. If you want to feel civilized and pampered and well feted, head to Yoly's.

Rays was also pretty nice. Ray's offers a FABULOUS harbor view from the dining room. The menu is good, the food is good. Not spectacular, but good. Definitely wanna try there too if you're in Seward

Picked the place from tripadvisor reviews. Hardly a bistro: it must seat 200+. Nice decor, great server, fast service. This was, of course, the off-season, and there were only ten people in the place. Good selection of white wines, priced from $17 to $30 a bottle. Adequate selection of reds. It is, after all, a seafood specialty house. I had the ribs, and there were great. My wife had house specialty, the wasabi halibut, and thought the wasabi overwhelmed the fish.

With few people in the place, it was a bit noisy, as the entire, large room consists of hard surfaces. Full, it'd be cacophonous. If you like that, and lots do, this is a great place. If you don't (I don't, for one) that might be a drawback in summer.

We were down in Seward for the day hungry as heck looking for a good place to eat. We stopped into Yoly's Bistro. The first thing we noticed was that it was REALLY, REALLY cold inside. We thought it was a fluke, but the menu looked appetizing and the waitstaff seemed friendly, so we decided to stay. I ordered the Seared Ahi and my partner ordered the Pad Thai. The Ahi Steak I received was AWFUL. It wasn't seared, it was fully cooked and tasted like a can of "Chicken of the Sea". My parnter's Pad Thai noodles were hard and the vegetables were overcooked. We both got sick, and the food tasted HORRIBLE. We will NEVER go back and do not recommend this restaurant to ANYBODY. Our "lunch" came to $60, where I would have rather spent that at Subway. DO NOT EAT HERE.

My husband and I dined here at the recommendation of the B&B where we were staying. It was so good, we decided to go there the next evening, unfortunately they aren't opened on Mondays, but we would have have eaten here every night. Priced low for the quality and quantity, great casual atmosphere, doesn't get better than Yoly's if you are looking for excellent food and casual dining!
