“Great hotel - strange location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

Like the majority of reports about this destination the first thing to say is that this is a very nice hotel with good facilities, bar, restaurant gym and spa. The food could not be faulted - we're not fans of buffet food but even the buffet style half board option is of a very high standard. The breakfasts are also excellent. The rooms are spacious, clean and generally well appointed. There is a reasonable upgrade available to one of the garden villas attached to the hotel - these look spectacular each one boasting a private plunge pool.

All the staff are very friendly and extremely professional.

A few 'oddities' - the separate beach bar which is just over the road has been 'closed for renovation' for some time, as has the hotel Sky lounge. It actually appears there aren't enough customers to sustain these facilities. This however does not impact on the main hotel area. The spa/gym is exceptional and well attended. I had a back massage - €15 for 15 minutes - just great.

I'd say this hotel is wonderful for medium stays of three or four days of total relaxation, or maybe longer if you have a car and are exploring the island. It's also very handy for Larnaca airport - just 10 minutes away by taxi.

There are no restaurants or bars within easy walking distance. The closest ones are in Pervolia village where there is a small number of Cypriot and English bars and restaurants.

The area (Kiti peninsular near Pervolia) is clearly a 'work in progress' - very quiet with several villa developments, some occupied, many for sale or rent.

All in all a relaxing seven days but I'd personally had enough after five - just a bit on the quiet side for me but I'm sure many would welcome this!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the sea are nice. worth the upgrade for the garden villas

Very nice hotel but should not be compared to a 4-Star in France or Belgium.... They are not attentive to small details such as moisture on seats outside (cotton is spotted with moisture) - manager of the hotel is solving problems with personnel in front of customers in the dining room (lasting for minutes before she stops complaining to her personnel)

Room Tip: Better rooms are the ones with private swimming pools....studios 1st floor are nice too but only a b...

If you want a hotel in a quiet but beautiful location then E-hotel is a good choice in quiet Pervolia, about 10 kms south of Larnaca.

The room is very nice with very comfortable beds and we had a tiny balcony towards the open sea. The breakfast is quite ok, but coming from Sweden all hotel brekfasts outside of Scandinavia tend to be smallish in our eyes. The swimmingpool area is very nice and the spa holds a very high quality. The staff in reception made you feel welcome and were very service minded, printed out our boarding cards with no charge.

On the downside I have to mention that it was impossible to pay with Diners Club, even though it clearly said when I booked that they accepted DC. This led to that I had to do bank transfers I wasnt prepared to do. Also the restaurant was a disappointment. We went there when they had cypriotic buffet, which was really bad and to charge 5 (or was it 6) euros (without even presenting the drinks menu to us) for a bottle of still water was nothing but robbery.

My wife and I stayed at E Hotel for a few nights. It was a GREAT pleasure! An amazing place, luxurious, well designed, peaceful and extraordinary. We'll be back, no doubt!!!
The service was most professional, extremely warm, kind and personal. We felt everything in this vacation was tailor made for us! An Unbelievable experience! Most recommended.
Close to the airport but yet very calm and pastoral. 10 minutes from the centre of Larnaca but meters from a 'wild' and quiet private beach!
Rooms are cozy and very elegant, an updated and modern design in the lobby as well. We also tried a Garden Villa with a pool for 2 nights... This was really superb! 2 huge rooms with a kitchen, living room, big bedroom, jacuzzi, what more can you ask?!
The manager of the Hotel Mr. Andreas was very polite and kind, and actually was all over. We believe this was the reason why the service was so good. So professional and caring, always with a smile.
It is one of those places that makes your vacation unforgotten. Unfortunately nowadays rarely you find such a spot.
Highly recommended!

We arrived in Cyprus on Cyprus Airways. Got a cab (15Euro) and went straight to E Hotel. Driving thru the countryside, wondering where we were going (since this was to be 7 mins from the airport). When we arrived, I could tell this was going to be an Intimate Resort. Hotel and Lobby to the Left and Villas to the right. Upon Check in, our room was not ready but we did get there early in the morning. We were encouraged to use the amenities of the resort. The lobby is very nice. Although a homey feel to it, the lobby had nice leather couches and a full glass wall to view the grounds. We had all kinds of things to keep us occupied, bikes, ping pong, a gym, Pool table, the pool, hot tub, massage services, rocking chairs and outdoor couches and probably the best... was all the nice "Couple size beds and basket style love seats" out by the pool. Literally, we did nothing all day on Saturday except walk to the beach, swim in the pool, ordered food from the pool side bar, Couples Massages by the pool, and just hung out. We never do this when we go away, on one of our adventures, so what a treat! Very Mediterranean. We stayed in one of the Villas.. Very nice. If we were to go again, I would try and get one of the bottome Villas which comes with your own private pool.. not hugh but larger than a hot tub and big enought to play in. Although it is less than 10mins. from town.. TAKE EVERYTHING YOU NEED!!! Don't expect to go there and just run to the corner market and get this or that. When you leave the airport, stop for snacks and or anything you might want, cause its at least a 20 min. cab ride and 10 + euro back out to the store. IF you wanna get away, relax and want some privacy, thats Romantic...I highly suggest the E-Hotel!

Room Tip: Ask for a Villa, the gardens and the privacy is worth it!

Had a wonderful relaxed holiday at E-Hotel. Staff are friendly and polite and answers all your questions. The grounds of the hotels are lovely and clean and there's plently of sitting areas around the pool and bar areas. There was also a spa in the basement and fresh towels were there for our use which was helpfull has the sunbeds were made out of cotton and were stained from pervious guest. Breakfast was great and the food was fresh and varied. Our room was facing the pool which was great and our room was big and spacious. I had a chance to look in the villias and they are bigger than the hotel room.
The beach was 5 minute walk away from the hotel and to hire the sunbeds and umbella were only 5 euros.
The down side is the hotle is very isolated from the main town of Larnaka and to get to anywhere you had to relay on the bus which arrive at set times- (ask for a timetable) it took you to Larnaca which is the nearest town with loads of restaurants and shops. Not much nightlife in Larnaka and from what we heard not has lively has ayia naya. We were forced to take a taxi back every night because for some reseaon the buses going back to Pervoila stopped after 5pm even thought the time table said they were running up to 9pm.! Taxi fares varies from 8-12Euros each and I was informed you should not be paying no more than 25euros for two people back to pervolia area- if u shop around u will eventually find a cheap taxi and prices increases after 8pm!
I agree with the other reviews that people from outside used the hotel on the weekends and the pool can get very busy and is unfair on the hotel guest.
It was a brilliant peaceful break but would not stay for 7 days; E-hotel is a excellent spa retreat which is great for a 3-4 days break has after the fews days it can get a bit boring. But would recommend this hotel if you wanted a short stay in Crpyus near the airport

Friendly staff greet you upon arrival in a relaxing and beautifully decorated reception area. On the Terrace there are a variety of comfy seats including rocking chairs which overlook the pool area. The restaurant and bar area are welcoming and comfortable. My room on the 2nd floor faced the road but traffic is light and I was not disturbed. A pool facing room would be my preference on my next visit if only for the better view. My room was large and the bed comfortable. The room was serviced daily and spotless. I did not use the Spa facilities. All in all a great place to stay and well recommended by friends of mine who live on the island.
