“Charmless... ear plugs needed in dining room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

This is a large hotel (maybe 250+ rooms?) specialising in large group holidays. The rooms are OK and spacious, but the free wifi is sometimes not able to penetrate all the hotel areas so you may have to go down to reception to get online. Dining is buffet style and whilst the selection is pretty extensive, the experience is grim: noisy, slow service for drinks, and difficulty finding a table if you go down at peak times. This is made worse by having most of the tables seating 8 people, so if you are a couple (or God forbid - a single traveller) then you will not have a nice dining experience. It's like eating in a school refectory... On the good side, the pool is nice, the place is clean and tidy and it's a short walk into town or the beach area.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the front of the hotel are quieter

Great hotel nice and clean with a large swimming pool located within walking distance from the village of Vodice. Very friendly staff especially the animation team.
Just a couple of remarks related to the seaside in front of the hotel (public area) that was very very crowdy with people lying there like a tetrisgame and the nearby disco that starting from 4pm turn on disco music that was a little noisy.
The overall experience was by the way very positive

The hotel was great but some things could be better for example air conditioning wasn't doing right for our whole stay in the hotele and reception has done nothing about it but everything else was okay

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. Check-in was smooth and fast although we arrived before official check-in time. There are very nice swimming pools with easy slope so even small children could go easy to the water and play there. The food was very good as well and everybody should be able to find what they like. There are several activities organized by hotel animators. For example our children really liked nice mini-disco (every evening except of Saturday). Although hotel doesn't have children playground there are some children attraction at the beach (10-15 kuna/10 minutes).

The park lot was protected by fence (parking cost hotel guests 40 kuna/day). The advantage was free public wifi with strong signal accessible in the room (building B oriented to the see).

The main problems are related to the surrounding of the hotel. The beach (~80 meters from the pool) was very overcrowded and rather dirty. The music at the beach was very disturbing. To hear loud disco everyday ~12 hours was exhausting. The windows at the hotel rooms have good acoustic isolation, however still the music can be an issue for some people.

The hotel is quite nice, with a large swimming pool and good facilities. But when you hear AND FEEL the very loud music from the club on the beach your relaxing vacation is gone.

The music is the modern dance music with a very distinct bass that is both felt and heard even inside the room with the terrase door closed! It got to our nerves and it went on every day and night.

As if that was not enough the music from the hotel it self was competing with the noise level as the restaurant/cafe played loud music, so did the pool bar and to top,it all then very loud music was also played every time the hotel entertainment went on with pool aerobic etc.

Sitting in between the different noise sources you heard all the different music at the same time. Not nice.

Our advise would be that the hotel is ONLY for clients between the age of 15 and 25

We stayed there for two nights and we were very satisfied with hotel offer. They have big swimming pool and playground for children. Hotel is very big, we stayed in a room with four balcony! Hotel is right in front of the beach. At the reception ask for the room with sea view. Breakfast is standard, nothing special.
