“It's OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

It'a good hotel, although the rooms are a bit small. This hotel needs a renovation. But the staff was very polite and helpfull in our decisions about which trip to take. They also recommended some restaurants in a city Šibenik, they were good.
This hotel is very close to the centre of Vodice.
All in all can be better, but it's OK.

Very bad sevice: they did not change the bed linen a week, no shower gel, small and dirty rooms, unfriendly staff, undeveloped and unguarded parking for 11euro/day, Wi-Fi 11euro/day!!!, very tiny and old elevators, no sandy beach like is written on the hotel site.

The room is very very small, there is just 1 chair in the room for 2 people and the closet is to small. The bathroom is so small, that 2 people could hardly be inside at the same time. There is just 1 very tiny small shelf for cosmetics. On The other hand the food is brilliant, a lot of choice for everyone and the staff is very kind and helpful.

Room Tip: Try to get the top room because the view is excelent.

This hotel needs some renovation. I was surprised by how old the hotel looks (or is) from the moment I entered the lobby. The ceiling was worn and covered by some plastic sheets. The mirror fountain was old and there were some cracks in it.

There were two elevators which were absolutely tiny. At one point one of the elevators (the one on the right) got stuck half way between 8th and 9th floor. Five people were trapped inside for like 10 minutes, but fortunately a technician got them out safely. Apparently it has happened before as the staff wasn't very surprised about it. (To hotel staff who's reading this: For safety reason, please put a sign that indicates the amount of people or weight an elevator can actually take. I couldn't read the language but notice number "8" inside the elevator, so I would assume that it could hold up to 8 people? Maybe that was true years ago when the hotel was first built, not nowadays.)

The room was so tiny, rather dark, and didn't smell fresh. Bathroom was also tiny, but the shower was nice and strong.

The food, however, seemed to be the best part of this hotel. Breakfast buffet was quite nice, with good selection of hot serves and cheese.

Wifi was available but wasn't free. I think it costed over USD 10 per account per day.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room facing inland. The view wasn't very pleasant. Make sure you book a sea-view...

Stayed here as part of a group. Hotel rated 4 star but was more 3 star. Good location, easy to walk to the harbour but as my visit was out of season the harbour area was very quiet.
The hotel was perfectly adequate for a short stay. Staff very helpful. Room clean but bed very hard and quite uncomfortable. Bar closed early as out of season, didn't know quite what to do with myself in the evening. Buffet food was average, could usually find something I liked
nothing special but freshly cooked. No complaints

A pleasant three days spent at this hotel. Average in many respects but in an excellent location and magnicent views available from the upper floors. The staff whether in reception, restaurant, bars or room service are most friendly and helpful. The one criticism was the food standard which was lower than expected. The same menu was offered at least for breakfast every day: sausages and fried egg (or occasionally scrambled egg resembling the leftovers of the omelette served the previous evening) were the only warm options available.
Great for brief stays but a week would be too long.
