“Great Happy Hour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

We loved the mai tais and the ambience. The sunsets were amazing. There were lots of interesting and like-minded folks to strike up conversations with.

“Resort Fare”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

Service very slow. Couldnt find our reservation. Food good. Childrens options available pasta was large and tasty, Salads with meat/fish topping just the right size and good. Seafood Risotto best side. App were small. Kind of pricey for what we got.
Parking available but had to drive around a bit for a spot. drinks very expensive.

“Love Happy Hour!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

Our last night on the island, great Mai tais, awesome sunset, spinner dolphins, I didn't want to leave! Our new first night and last night tradition for sure! Pupus were good, Mai Tais were great! Fun atmosphere with live music, close to our condo, Score!

“Happy Hour: the Only Time to go- Stunning setting!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

We have gone there many times and last time we scored a great seat to watch the sunset but the drinks were mediocre at best. The service was slow and the music they were playing conflicted with the lovely luau tunes, hasn't anyone figured that out by now? The pupus are overpriced for what you get, even at Happy Hour, and the food has never made our taste buds dance.

Maybe we hit it on a bad night, we will go back you can't beat the location and the people watching. They are famous for the Mai Tais and I have had good ones there but not this time.

The luau is $88 and the entertainment is terrific (food rumored to be barely edible) and you can see some of it free is you happen to score the right table in the bar.

Lots of middle aged people there the night we were there, seemed to be no locals, only tourists. The hotel is owned by Pleasant Hawaiian Holiday so there are likely lots of"vacation package people" around.

The live music there can be hit and miss.

“Horrible Meal”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

After a great introduction by the hostess, we were seated at a beautiful table next to the water. A nice appetizer was served before the server arrived. After that, the meal was HORRIBLE! The server was surly, rude, disorganized and inattentive. For the first time in 20 years, we left no tip.
