We took the afternoon Snack Cruise out to Kealakekua Bay (don't count on that being spelled correctly). The 60 minute cruise out was very enjoyable, we saw humpback whales breaching, spinner dolphins riding the bow wave, and very scenic coastal vistas on our way out to the bay. One in the bay, there was a school of spinner dolphins playing nearby. Once we got into the water with the snorkel gear, we were able to swim out to be near the dolphins, who were more curious about us than we were of them. The snorkeling was amazing, literally hundreds of brightly colour fish. After snorkeling we were able to take the slide from the top deck into the ocean. Most of the guests got into the activity which was very well supervised, similarly there was a diving platform which was a real hit with many of the guests. After snacks and drinks, we were treated with more whales breaching and swimming nearby, as well as many dolphins frolicking near the bow of the boat. A well organized crew made the activity very enjoyable. I recommend it.
