“Great Snorkeling!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We took the afternoon Snack Cruise out to Kealakekua Bay (don't count on that being spelled correctly). The 60 minute cruise out was very enjoyable, we saw humpback whales breaching, spinner dolphins riding the bow wave, and very scenic coastal vistas on our way out to the bay. One in the bay, there was a school of spinner dolphins playing nearby. Once we got into the water with the snorkel gear, we were able to swim out to be near the dolphins, who were more curious about us than we were of them. The snorkeling was amazing, literally hundreds of brightly colour fish. After snorkeling we were able to take the slide from the top deck into the ocean. Most of the guests got into the activity which was very well supervised, similarly there was a diving platform which was a real hit with many of the guests. After snacks and drinks, we were treated with more whales breaching and swimming nearby, as well as many dolphins frolicking near the bow of the boat. A well organized crew made the activity very enjoyable. I recommend it.

“Great trip to do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

family of teenagers, throughly enjoyed afternoon cruise. we took this chruise as we were driving from Hilo, taking abt 4 hrs to drive over the top road, giving enough time to stop and look at sights on way. There is off street parking near by,also close to Sheraton kona.
this cruise has so many options to keep everyone entertained, nothing to be scared off. it was great. we snorkelled, I used a box viewer, had the rubber rings to help float, there were boards for the little ones with viewers. There were strong sturdy steps off the boat,so made it very easy to get back in from the water. the slides and platform were a great way to jump in and made it fun for all ages.We were well looked after in the water and on the boat. snacks and unlimited juice and water helped.
The fish and coral were amazing, would thoroughly reccommend this, and Im sure any of the other cruises would come up tops.

“Making Memories!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

Thank you for a wonderful experience and day! Two grand daughters 11 & 15 had a fantastic time. Treated them to Snuba (Shoreline Snuba) had never even heard of it before, like scuba diving without the tank. They had the time of their lives, and that's what it's all about making memories. Breakfast muffins, fruit, coffee, croissants and the Barbecue lunch was sweet, burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers also. Fresh potato chips, mac salad, fruits cold drinks. Fabulous crew....the 15 year old felt a little queasy they took care of her with ginger. The color of the water like something painted and so clear. The coral beautiful, fish, eels and even sea urchins no fear. Provided inner tubes even a float with a mask in it. Two slides jumping platform just pure fun! Time flew, when we pulled out of the cove they spotted spinning dolphins and slowed down so all could enjoy. Worth every penny!

“Caption Cook Snorkeling Adventure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

I loved captain cooks snorkeling a lot. The boat ride was fun like a mild roller coaster. Snorkeling with the fish and the coral right under you made the experience exhilarating. I would recommend Captain Cooks to anyone that likes sea life, adventure, and a lot of fun.

“Great Snorkel cruise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

We did the morning snorkel cruise to capt cook monument on the Fair Wind II and it was the kids (8 and 11) favourite activity from our recent holiday to NYC, Hawaii and LA. well organised, very helpful and friendly crew, good equipment provided and great food. The video guy was really good with the kids, knew his fish well and was happy to answer any questions put to him. Breakfast of fruit, muffins and bagels was great as was the barbecue lunch. Had a good couple of hours in the sea snorkelling round the bay and saw loads of different fish. Kids also enjoyed the slides and high board and it was real shame when it was time to leave. Would go again if we ever went back to hawaii.
