“Better bring a good book:-(”

Longest wait for breakfast ever! Food was good and views were amazing, but the service was pretty terrible. Noticed the same waitress slap her hands off her forehead in frustration to a patron, groan loudly through the dining room, and later snap at customers who asked how much longer they would be waiting for their food. It was our wedding day so we just tried to relax and enjoy the views. The food took so long to arrive that after it was dropped our waitress decided to let us know her shift was over and someone else would be helping us. That's a first time for us over breakfast... We figured she just gave up on a tip because she knew the service was just so bad. Again, beautiful views, decent pricing, good food, HORRIBLE wait times and pretty bad service across the board. If I caught my employee groaning at a customer I would be less than thrilled! Where's the management at this place? Someone organizing this place would probably do wonders for a clearly overwhelmed staff!

“A 5-Star Lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We had a late lunch there today, Monday 2/25/13, at a bit after 1pm. My wife had one of there 3 specialty sandwiches, the turkey with provolone, basil, avocados, and a creamy garlic sauce on foccacha. It came with several side options and she took the salad. I had the fish tacos and selected the daily soup, which was a creamy mushroom with chicken. We both had vanilla milk shakes for our beverage.

Everything about our meal was excellent! We had a lovely, shaded table on the patio with great people watching in the foreground and the bay across the street. Our server was delightful! She watched over us our every need wonderfully, and also took time to share some of her story with us.

My wife raved about both the freshness of her salad and the dressing. And she loved her sammie. Beautifully integrated with yummie, interesting components, she said. And we both thoroughly enjoyed our vanilla milk shakes!

My soup was terrific! Nicely portioned as a side, very creamy with ample mushrooms & chicken, and interesting spicing with hints of cedar and smokiness. The fish tacos were awesome (it came with two tacos)! A great chipoltie sauce, cabbage, and onions layered the bottom of home made flour tacos (which were puffed and warmed on the griddle just before serving), a bowl of black beans topped with cubed tomatos accompanied to had as desired, as did a lovely, home made salsa (which was more like a chutney, really). All of this to blanket a beautiful chunk of grilled fish of the day. They were delicous!

The portions were ample. Neither of us finished, but neither of us had left enough to warrant the hassles of a guilt-driven doggie bag.

A 5-Star Lunch!

“Not impressed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant was not busy but the service was very slow and my meal wasn't hot. There was supposed to be a discount on the bill and it wasn't there - we had to ask for it. Beautiful location of course.

“Good food, not the best service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Came here for the lunch and despite they were not that busy, our server never bothered to bring us more water, even though we asked for it. On the other hand, the sandwiches we ordered were really good and we also enjoyed the view.
