We decided to eat lunch here with our two teenage girls on our first day in kona as a fun, touristy thing to do. The hostess was sweet and friendly. We arrived at 2:10pm as the sign out front said several places "happy hour 2-5pm" and thought we could share a couple appetizers and celebrate our vacation with a fruity cocktail. When our waitress arrived the meal was downhill from there. She quickly asked if we were locals. We responded "no" and asked if we could see the happy hour menu. She proceeded to lie to us and said it didn't start until 3pm!! To top it off she said in a snotty tone, "sorry!". Hmmmm. Ok against better judgement we ordered what we though was mediocre tasting food and she hardly gave our table another thought, even after she gave us the wrong drinks, we could never say anything because she didn't come back until we got the check! Someone else had to come back to our table twice to check on us. I would save yourself $90 and go up the street to anywhere else than this.
